Better version of Santino I see him more as a mashup between Fandango and Santino. I was a fan of his back in the late 90s. Very entertaining midcard guy and Fandango is the first one in ages that comes close to being a REALLY entertaining midcard heel, no matter how hard they're making it for him to stay relevant.

This was from June? Guy looks to be in great shape. Better shape than Cabana, there. He was one of the few from WCW that I actually thought would have fit in better in the WWF at the time, and also arguably may have gotten a better push (at least pre-Attitude Era). I remember he was heavily rumoured to be Honky Tonk Man's protege, as he was on the outs with WCW for refusing to job to Jacqueline (only to come back and job to Jacqueline).

I always thought the guy was incredibly talented, and in hindsight he's further proof of why wrestling was so much better in the 90's than it is now. A guy like him now in WWE would MAYBE get seen on TV once or twice a month on Superstars/Main Event/Saturday Morning Slam/whatever. WCW featured the guy on a weekly basis and he always got to go out and make an impression. You knew who his character was, and you got to see him wrestle. Nowadays, if you aren't a main-event guy, you don't matter for shit.

I only watched WCW at the tail end of it's existence, but I remembered he had this plastic duck when he was hanging around with The Filthy Animals, and the duck had a hole on the bottom of it that just got progressively bigger as time went on.
