Kruuuuuuuuuugahhhhh!! What a fun war cry! Sad that he doesn't really get much chance to use it outside smarky NXT crowds as a heel. In due time, everyone will hear 'Kruuuuuuuuuuuuugahhhhhh!!" It will be awesome when he stands over fallen opponents yelling that. Also, lets hope Vince McMahon doesn't catch wind of that "new Wes Craven film, A Nightmare On Elm Street", or this Leo Kruger might be dead before we know it. By the way, I must say I appreciate Leo's use of Nigel McGuinness's old London Dungeon armbar finisher. Its an awesome hold and I'm surprised no one else has used it before he did.

What I find funny is that Barry Windham tried this exact same gimmick pretty much ages ago and no one could possibly have cared less. We seem to be in a weird time where older gimmicks are being redone and are getting over. You got Fandango with the self-absorbed dancer gimmick, Bray in a cult-like, supposedly Waylon Mercy-esque gimmick, Sandow in a gimmick very reminiscent of The Genius, Tyler Breeze as The Model and of course Kruger himself. A more realistic slice to otherwise campy gimmicks. Hmmmm, remember when they were promoting that WCW DVD and when Santino/DX they spoofed the shockmaster Dusty said "it should have worked"? Well I think Dusty is working through all the gimmicks he thinks should have worked, he's starting with some of the lesser ones but soon will move on to The Devil's Advocate and finally the Shockmaster, there's a new boom period coming.

Why does everybody's gimmick/personality seem so much more... solid in NXT?
On the main roster, you have so many guys where it's just "We have no idea what this guy's deal is, really..."
Doesn't seem the case on NXT.

Doesn't seem the case on NXT. Having a show that's better booked with less cooks in the kitchen and little to no micromanaging or yes-man type behavior tends to help a great deal.
