Thailand Censors Anime Swimsuits, Shoes, Drinking

"Censorship level: Thailand" is no joke! Check out just how tough the country's censorship is.

For years now, anime viewers in Thailand have been dealing with ironclad regulations for broadcast dubs—something that fans outside the country have also noticed.

But it's not just anime. On Thai television broadcasts, the government censors alcohol consumption, weapons pointed at people, cigarettes, blood, and swimwear. You can read more in this Thai censorship wiki entry.

I think they already did. Much like animated bikinis, the exploitation is still there but they've blocked it from their sight.

My favorite of the censored pictures was a magazine with a woman in a swimsuit that has of course been blurred so much it looks like the guys looking at full on porn.

I should have posted more of the article. Thailand, like some other countries, exposing the bottom of your foot is considered rude like the middle finger. Here's a picture from the article.

Nothing. Thailand censors the bare chest of males as well.
