Well this is interesting. John Cena is hooking up with big boobs Bella so Darren Young should hook up with big boobs Langston.. Congrats to Young, I just hope WWE doesn't make him be the over the top stereotype and Titus as his extremely homophobic tag team partner. I'd like Titus as some guy who keeps bumbling and accidentally saying "homophobic" things with D-Young reacting to them in a "What do you mean you people?!?!?" kind of way. Even though I was mostly seeing Titus as a more serious homophobic character with demeaning and offensive slurs, I take back my original post. If they don't take it too far (it's WWE, they would) gay Prime Time Players sounds fantastic. Tag team championship win with Titus pinning Rollins in the 69 position like that time the Rock hit Triple H with a chair and he fell on top of Trish.

I'm guessing he's only come to terms with this somewhat recently as he's had GF problems in the past.
This could end up being both the best thing ever as the worst thing ever. The best in that he's the first openly-gay wrestler in WWE and with how image-concious they are, he could become somewhat of a cult hero.
Also, it could be the worst because Vince and he people aren't known to have great tact when it comes to writing funny and witty lines and know how to subliminally bully their talent.
EDIT: Also, the article says "first openly gay wrestler in a major company". Dixie Carter must love that since they had Orlando Jordan after he came out as Bi.

Kudos to Darren.
On another note, did Orlando Jordan come out before or after his WWE stint?

FAN's dream come true. Happy now? Not yet. When every WWE Superstar that I personally find attractive has an "I Am Spartacus"-like mass coming out, then I'll be happy.

This is great that he's comfortable enough to come out, but there's one question we never got answered:
What doe Darren Young's hair?

If they acknowledge his sexual orientation on air, Titus should immediately declare his support for him, and vow to bludgeon anyone who gives Darren Young any shit about it.

Kudos to Darren. On another note, did Orlando Jordan come out before or after his WWE stint? I think it was after. It wasn't part of his gimmick until he went to TNA (I don't think he was doing the Bi gimmick when he wrestled Ultimate Warrior's "comeback" "match")

Well at least we know who Titus was tweeting his wood to now!
More seriously good for D-Young, I doubt much will change in the way the he's treated by the E but here's hoping that fans don't embarrass themselves.
I'm more surprised that TMZ even bothered to interview D-Young than anything else.

I really hope the WWE change nothing about his character now they know this. Just let him continue the way he's been. This. You've got a goldmine of material just waiting to happen with the Prime Time Players. I wish him all the best in his new-found happiness. And if WWE does end up leaving the character alone, it'll be really neat to be able to say that WWE is being more mature and less exploitative about homosexuality than almost anything else on television. Imagine that. WWE pulling off tasteful subtlety.

I love how nonchalant Darren is about his sexuality. Instead of haggling for a Sports Illustrated cover story or 24HR media coverage, he just says it without any hype or overdramatization. Props to him being comfortable to live his life instead of a lie.

Seeing how Orlando's character behaved in TNA, it's probably was less about his sexual orientation and more about his gimmick idea was way over the top.

I never would have predicted it but good for Darren, I wonder if the rest of the boys knew. I really hope they did and they were just cool with it, I guess time will tell. So we've had our serious gay wrestler all along? Who would have ever thought that this would be how the meme died. What the E needs now is a Serious Gay New Nation. (old meme's never die? I don't knooooooooow. but pass the Rice Flair. And hey MVP, is that a screwdriver in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me big boy?)

Probably less, "We don't want a bisexual," and more, "We don't want a depraved rapist."

Oh most definitely, I would almost guarantee it was everything to do with the ludicrousness of the gimmick and not all that much to do with sexual orientation at all.

Then suggest it be toned down, while keeping the central core of the idea intact, rather than ignoring it for as long as they could then firing him? Besides, I don't think the company that gave us some of Goldust's gimmicks has any grounds to deny the Jordan gimmick.
