Skip Bayless, Stephen A Smith and Colin Cowherd are an affront to sports. There I said it I don't care who hates me for saying it

Michelle Beadle's Crossover show has been cancelled by NBC Sports In other news Olbermann's show is great. Hope it lasts a long time The canning of Crossover bums me out. I don't get NBCSN so my exposure to The Crossover was limited, but I thought it was a nice twist on the typical "afternoon sports talk" show. For Olbermann; if you were to tell me 5 years ago I'd love anything involving Keith Olbermann, I'd call you psychotic. But I can't recommend his new show enough. He covers sports incredibly well. His monologue will have you thinking, his segments will have you laughing and his interviews will keep you informed. IMO it's the best sports show on TV. Skip Bayless, Stephen A Smith and Colin Cowherd are an affront to sports. There I said it I don't care who hates me for saying it I'll give you Stephen A. and Skip Bayless. First Take was one of my favorite shows when it was, pretty much, a sports-themed TODAY Show. But now that it's just Skip & Stephen debating, it's utterly unwatchable. But I will hate you for ever and ever for lumping Colin with them. I used to hate him in 2010 when he was burying the Cincinnati Reds, calling their newfound success fraudulent. Pretty much all of Cincinnati was dumping on him, but when playoff time came around and the Reds were swept out of the first round of the playoffs, who was right? I can understand why people don't like him; he's not a fanhugger, he has a pretty brash attitude compared to most sports radio hosts, he's not afraid to say things that will make him "the bad guy" to a certain fandom or another. Compared to the local sports talk hosts I listen to around here who kiss up to fans, sponsors and kiss the rings of those in Reds or Bengals management, he's a breath of fresh air.

Dan Lebatard will be replacing Coach. He'll be bringing his Miami based radio show national starting next week.
And the Big Lead is reporting that Beadle is in the process of leaving NBC and going back to ESPN

The NFL Owners passed a rule today that basically can "force" a team to participate in Hard Knocks.
1st option is to get a team that wants to do it but if they are having problems, then the NFL can step in and require a team to do it
Teams are exempt if
- They made the playoffs in one of the two previous seasons
- They have a new Head Coach
- They have been on Hard Knocks in the past 10 years
So exempt teams right now are: Dallas, Cincy, Miami, NYJ, KC, Baltimore, San Fran, Atlanta, New England, Houston, Seattle, Washington, Denver, Green Bay, Indy, Minnesota
Obviously more will be exempt at the end of this season due to the playoffs and new coaches.

Not too many fans of Frank Isola on Around the horn. I seen some people compare him to Mariotti.
