A young Hogan chain wrestling and locking in a freaking STF, Brother! Along with what is probably the highest-angle backdrop you could do without just dropping them on their head. Ouch. That irish whip followed by the Polish Hammer to the back of his head was awesome. Like brutal caveman fighting.

They just look so wrong like this, Bryan especially. He looks like an unfinished clone. I'd like to see Bryan return from injury looking like this, just wrestling. The dude doesn't need the beard and crazy hair. He's already over with the audience.

The way he snaps into offensive moves reminds me of pre-neck injury Steve Austin. Only thing really different is the way he bumps, which was never one of Hogan's good points (selling he was good at, his bumps sucked though).

Fair criticism, but given his size, I imagine it's probably harder for him to bump than it was for early Austin.

Even post neck op Austin bumped a lot more than early Hogan to be fair.

I found some old ECW DVDs (and a CHIKARA!) and started watching. One of the first things I watched was The Eliminators vs Dr. Death & Terry Gordy.
Holy f***, that was an embarrassment. It was cringeworthy almost from the get-go, and not in a good way.

Ok, I don't know my Lucha too well but, as near as I can tell here is an eight-person tag match featuring a random combination of men, women, mini's and two transvestites.

Whoa good find! Bret Hart and Bruno going at it!? I can only imagine Bruno requested it with a tear in his eye.

I stumbled across another unusual lucha match this week. Here's Cinthia Moreno, Faby Apache and Mary Apache vs. Jennifer Blake, Sexy Star and TNA's own Velvet Sky in a "Glow in the Dark" Match -
Man, was Velvet completely outclassed by everybody else in that match.

Velvet Sky is outclassed by everybody on the planet. Whether that be wrestling, standing, breathing, skipping, gaming, fishing... You name it.
