Has this been posted yet? (hell, I may have even posted it myself) The first ever confrontation between Undertaker and Sid: It takes talent to recognize any potential in Mark. Cause from these early vids he is just another generic big guy. If he had been in the business long, maybe, but considering how new he was, he was a quick study in a lot of ways. Beyond that, you're not going to find many guys his size, then or now, walking the ropes, which was a trick he picked up early.

Sandow appearing on WWE TV 13 years ago is pretty mind blowing. Reminds me of finding out Steve Blackman was first around in the 80's.

I remember there was some kind of controversy about it, the WWE didn't want to include it because they felt the video quality was so bad that it was impossible to clean up and wasn't up to WWE standards but Bret insisted they include it anyways.

It really turned Bret's emotions around because at first, he only gave the match 4/10.

I had forgotten that Sivi Afi was an Islander for about ten minutes!

I might just be looking back with 20/20 hindsight but I think he had a decent look and a good presense about him even back then, certainly enough raw material to work with in an agile big guy. I really think the WWE limiting his moveset to chokes and throat punches really impeded his development for years

He was brought in from Stampede and was about to be given a contract when he got really sick. Took him years to recover and get back into shape and soon as he did, Owen and Pillman got him back into the WWE.

I assume Owen beat the future Hall of Famer to earn his Summerslam title match.

I remember Koko randomly returning just after Wrestlemania 10 facing Jeff Jarrett on RAW, I vaguely remember this too. Doubt he appeared again.
I just noticed the Bret/Andre match is on the Bret Hart Dungeon Collection DVD

So not a singles match or anything but I was interested to notice in THIS battle royal from October 95 an interaction between Bam Bam Bigelow and Triple H, who I had just never thought of having been in the same place at the same time but there was obviously this brief period. I'm guessing this is as close as they came to having a match.
