1976 Memphis Wrestling Christmas SpecialComplete with an interview with Rocky Johnson, his wife, and his four year old son... Dewey. Don't know what happened to that kid, but at least he can say he was on a wrestling show.

Eddie was 22 here and wow, I've never seen him completely clean shaven. What a hunk (sans the time-appropriate mullet)! Must be around the time he met Vickie. Mando, meanwhile, was 39 - looking 50.

I always throw this up in hopes of it finally being validated for me. I will try again.
So, one of the many weekend WCW shows. Circa 90-91. Sting comes out for a jobber match. They go to lockup. The size difference becomes very apparent at this time. Sting has an existential crisis. He plays to the crowd that it wouldn’t be right to beat up such a little guy. He may or may not have propped the lil fella up on the Turnbuckle and patted his head. Sting tells the ref he isn’t going to fight this guy. Sting’s music plays and he is declared the winner for being a nice boi.
DID THIS SHIT HAPPEN?!?

I don't think they would have done this for a TV taping.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz6cGBrYQgMFound this on youtube, it's the MSG show from January 1986, on this show is where Sivi Afi made his MSG debut introduced as "Superfly" which got the crowd going for a sec until they saw this dude come through the curtain. Skip to the 1:42:00 mark.

Oof. .....more or less awkward than when they brought him back a year or so later (aligned with Heenan & the Islanders) as a heel and he was slapping fans hands down the aisle....?

Ric Flair faced Roddy Piper on AWA TV in 1973 very early in both their careers. Here’s the card: www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=80164I’d be very impressed if anyone could find the match if it even still exists.

It seems like there is a missing part where after Sting pats the guy on the head he’d turn around and start walking away then the little guy would attack him. This would lead Sting to defend himself and get a quick win. But it’s WCW in the early 1990s so I could see it happening your way.

Ultimate Warrior, in between WWF stints, does a one off match against Ulf Hermann in Otto Wanz' German wrestling promotion.

Don't know what happened to that kid, but at least he can say he was on a wrestling show. I love that people like Bobby Eaton's wife still call him Dewey, mostly people who would know him primarily as Johnson's little kid. (He had apparently been the first person to contact her when Eaton had that episode where he went missing at an airport because his blood sugar was low)

Shark Boy won on TV in WCW...twice. Both times were on WCW Saturday Night. One time he beat a guy named Jeremy Lopez and his biggest WCW win was against Silver King. If only Silver King applies himself more to become Gold King as Chris Jericho suggested he might have escaped Shark Boy’s wrath.

This must've been during that period where WCW Saturday Night and WCW Worldwide had terrific matches pretty much every week even when Nitro and Thunder sucked.
