That Michael Hayes started doing the moonwalk years before Michael Jackson even learned the move.
(Neither invented it, and Cab Calloway, among others, was doing the move as "the Buzz", decades before. It was also used by mimes doing wind routines well before Michael Jackson popularized the move.)

I wondered for years if a young Rock saw this late at night and it inspired the People's Elbow.

Andre The Giant apparently wrestled two last matches for WWF in 1991. Both in house shows: As part of a 6-Man tag match in Belfast, Northern Ireland, that also included Shawn Michaels and Mr. Fuji. www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=160920And in a battle royal in Long Island, New York, with the winner getting an Intercontinental Title match. www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=31912I don't know if either match was taped or not, but that battle royal I'd kinda wanna see. Is this the battle royal that featured both Andre and the Undertaker? I remember reading somewhere that the only time they were ever in the same match was in a non-televised battle royal, but that they never interacted.

You might be thinking of the battle royal as part of this event. Undertaker was in the match, Andre wasn't officially in it but he interfered in it towards the end. Otherwise, there's no record of the two men being in the same battle royal match. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Royal_at_the_Albert_Hall

He was not doing over the top rope bumps by that time.

Was it on a Colleseum video?

Is Kurt Angle vs Owen Hart the new "holy grail" of lost match footage?

Also, I'm still a perplexed that a couple of days ago I saw KUSHIDA be a replacement for Jeff Jarrett of all people.

Scott Hudson saying all of Ed Leslie's gimmick names in one breath was great.

Jesus, and its 1985 gear no less. Someone correct me if I imagined this but around the time he started wearing the old 80s gear he cut a promo saying he wasn't going to be anymore gimmicks just himself?

According to the Wikipedia, this was his last WCW match. Makes sense he'd go old-school for his last appearance; seems like he was checked out and done judging by everything here.

Brian Blair & JYD vs. Harley Race & Akeem-WWF tour of Italy October of 88, funny seeing Akeem acting like a face and Harley sort of dancing along with him: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOSOPVbB1o4

Gorilla Monsoon, Michael Cole, and Kevin Kelly apparently did commentary together on several or so occasions. Interesting discussion here about the NWA as well.
