According to wrestlingdata.com, Hulk Hogan and Terry Gordy had only two matches, one singles and one tag, in 1979, when Hogan was billed as Terry Boulder.
I was wondering about the Wrestling Summit match between Hogan and Stan Hansen, and how Hansen convinced Gordy not to face Hogan because he was the champion, and what a Gordy/Hogan match would have looked like.

I'm curious who the partners were in the tag match? Because if it's Hogan and his "brother" Dizzy Hogan (Brutus Beefcake) vs. Gordy and Hayes, then I so want to see that match now.

That would be "Mr. Electrcity" Steve Regal, not William Regal.

Michael Hayes having a victory over Hogan is so weird even if it's pre-Hogan Hogan

Read an article that mentioned Greg Valentine and Shawn Michaels vs. Dino Bravo and Paul Roma at a non-televised event in Providence, Rhode Island in June 1991.

In a better universe we got a Coliseum Home Video release with Gorilla on commentary calling Michaels and Valentine the "Rock Star and the Boxcar".

I can't remember if this is something I'd heard before and forgot, or if it's new information to me, but I just discovered today that Chris Benoit was WWE's original choice to be The Ringmaster, rather than Steve Austin. The main reason he didn't take the offer was that he didn't want to give up his Japanese bookings.
Kinda makes you wonder how things would have played out if Benoit had gone to WWE in 1995, rather than staying with WCW/New Japan.

I was futzing around on History of WWE and found these weird results from a 1994 house show -
Random Cuban Assassin appearance, random Greg Valentine appearance, random Gangrel appearance and Koko B. Ware... putting hot dogs in the ring? Man, I wish there was video footage of this show.

Undertaker defends The WWF Title against The British Bulldog
To add to this, this was Taker's 1st title defense and Bulldog's 1st World Title shot. Neither had ever been in this spot before. Taker would lose it to Hogan after and not defend it again until April 1997 and Bulldog wouldn't challenge again until he faced Diesel in 1995. It would be like a sports championship game between two teams that had never been there prior.

A rare 1981 appearance of Hulk Hogan in NWA Hollywood, in between his first WWF and AWA runs, against "Mean" Mike Masters (commentary in Spanish) -
