So I'm assuming the next show won't be till later next month? Most likely not until the end of October or early November. If I know Excalibur and Super Dragon, they'll want to take a long break after the epic weekend that was BOLA weekend.

Its been more than a couple of days since the N2 preview got put online, and there was a 2 day gap between the release of the N1 and N2 previews. N3 preview must be online soon right....right?...

Just breath. It'll be ok. Think about pandas and Candace LaRae's (or Ricochet's) body and reman calm. I just finished watched the ELEVEN dvd last night and there are a few things that don't really come across on DVD that you definitely felt in-person in Reseda. 1) How frickin hot it was. Everyone was sweating balls in that room. 2) The end to WCTT vs YB was way more electric than it seemed on the DVD. The energy in the room was unlike anything I'd ever felt before at a wrestling show - WWE or otherwise. 3) The sense of "WTF" after the Steen/Lee match was so palpable you could eat it with a spoon. It didn't linger as long as the WM upset this year, but it definitely had everyone pretty shocked for what was probably the right move.

Dude, I loved the ending to the Steen/Lee match especially considering the thrashing Kevin was unleashing on poor Trevor. The fact that Trevor took his beating AND came out with the victory was a genious way to put Trevor over and still make Steen look awesome.

I think that bola is getting to the point, if it isn't already there, of becoming larger than life. To me it's kinda like the World Cup of wrestling, but instead of every 4 years it's done every year, the different organizations (roh, czw, dgusa/evolve, new japan, and others) send their guys to win the belt, like the World Cup it's somewhat political. Almost all of those companies don't let their guys appear on the other shows, like roh guys don't appear on dgusa or czw, but they all let them appear on pwg.
This year BOLA also had consequences, allegedly because Elgin wasn't booked so strong, specially losing to Trevor Lee, was one of the reasons (apart from not drawing, visa issues, and the baseball comment) that he lost the roh belt so quickly.
Another interesting thing, for the first time a "Gabe Sapolsky" guy, meaning from dgusa/evolve won the whole thing. The last 4 years ROH wrestlers have won the whole thing.
I would like to hear how they choose who wins bola, because the results have ramifications.

So we are nearly at 3 weeks after BOLA took place. If they are aiming for late October for the next show in theory we should start hearing announcements for it in the next couple or so weeks right?
I wonder how much they have made from BOLA (I like I assume a few in this thread proudly bought all 3 nights directly from PWG), equated to how much it cost for three nights/paying about 30 talents for multiple dates. I also can't wait to hear who has now become regulars in PWG (I think we have entered into a new era in PWG considering how big BOLA was) to add to a stacked roster, but now has a few spots left thanks to a few talents leaving for WWE/TNA in the past couple of years.
If you buy off the PWG site does that mean most of that money goes to them instead of Highspots (for me in UK) or different sellers on Ebay? I would assume so but I am not so sure. That's why I felt I wanted to this time rather than buying them when they becomes available on Ebay

From the previews I see that Trevor is now a made man in the eyes of the fans. I don't think that Gulak and Busick did that much of an impact to get called back, Zack Sabre is awesome but could he be to expensive to fly?
No one can replace Drake's charisma, but I think PWG should give an opportunity to another hybrid wrestler, I would like to see Masada get a PWG shot, he can move well, had great matches with Davey and Generico, his main problem, is that, well he's an asshole, and that might cost him a spot in PWG. On his AOW episode, Excalibur said that when they book guys, the most important thing they look for is that he gets along with the roster.

Despite being extremely talented in ring and a long time member of the regular roster since the early days. I was a massive fan at his at one point, still am but nowhere near what it used to be due to him being very arrogant and rubbing everyone the wrong way? I edited my post a bit too late so you might not have seen, but do you know if PWG gets more money if you buy directly from them or does it make no different? I am desperate to find out for future purchases as it saves me going through a potential massive delay or mistake not getting it directly from them (like others have experienced here) but yet them still getting majority of the money

Yeah Scorpio was having a breakthrough year in 2012 I think, getting booked again in PWG he defeated Joey Ryan for his, at the time, last match in PWG, was becoming a big deal in Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, he was getting a spot on Raw with the Harold character in the anger management deal with Kane and Bryan, I still believe he was gonna be signed...But then, the man commited career suicide by posting homophobic tweets, he burnt his bridge with the WWE because of that, the WWE even released a statement saying that he wasn't gonna be used again, then after that he was never brought back to PWG, because let's face it most of the PWG casual audience are "hiptsers" (the Hollywood stars and hot girls who attend the shows) and aren't down with his views. I myself don't agree with Sky's views but admit he's a great talent, if he was in czw or another "tough" company it wouldn't had been important, like Jay Brisco never suffered a major punishement from his comments.
I don't know about the economic state of PWG, on a Q&A, Super Dragon said that he considered selling the promotion in the past. I don't know if it is profitable or not. With the DVD sales, let's face it, there's a section of the smarks that use torrents (I'm not condoning it of course), I've read somewhere that an uploaded PWG DVD would get about thousands of watches. I don't know how big is the gate in Reseda, and after expenses how much they get to keep. I guess it's like what Zandig said on his final shoot after selling CZW, "You don't make money, but you kinda not lose money."

Sky also started talking shit about Kevin Steen on twitter and called out PWG management for backing him up back for Steen dropped the title to Cole. And his attitude would be an issue in a lot of companies that treat the locker room as a family (which both PWG and CZW do). As for the indies and economics, it depends. CZW was not making money when Zandig was ready to sell, but with DJ CZW makes good enough money... of course, DJ opened up a lot of sponsorship and partnership opportunities that Zandig didn't. I don't know a lot about PWG's financing but they seem to make solid money BUT they also don't spend as much as some of the other companies due to not doing shows every month.

Sky burying their number 1 draw was moronic, maybe he thought that he was unf***able because he was tight with Joey Ryan and went back to the early days of PWG. Yeah PWG seems to be content on their spot and not spending money to expand quickly, the main reason why the promotions die, on his RF Shoot, Joey said that an opportunity in advertising or something, to attract more fans to their show presented itself, and that Super Dragon responded "and where would I put the extra people?" Maybe they're making good enough money, and it wouldn't be worth to lose it in an expansion
