The non-tourney matches...
*Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor & TRENT? b. Willie Mack, B-Boy & Tommaso Ciampa *Adam Cole & The Young Bucks b. AR Fox, Rich Swann & Candice LeRae
Surprised that Younger didn't win, surprised that Gargano made the semis, and even more shocked that Steen turned heel. Looks like their big babyfaces are O'Reilly and Younger going forward.

The lack of a Tony Nese match upsets me.

Nese suffered a knee injury last night and served as guest referee after the ref was knocked out during the first six man tag listed.

Steen alliance with Cole? How does that make any sense at all?

So it seems the new stable of Cole/Bucks/Steen are referring to themselves as THE MOUNT RUSHMORE OF WRESTLING.
Jesus Christ.

the names kinda meh, but i'm good on the group. i was saying last year when Cole turned heel in PWG that he should team up with the Bucks, and Kevin Steen...well, its Kevin Steen and you can't go wrong with heel Kevin Steen, so i'm on board with him in the group

The only way I can see them justifying the Steen turn is that Steen gained respect for Cole after the matches they've had, while being upset that people prefer Younger, O'Reilly, etc.
Speaking of Younger, I get Tommy Dreamer vibes from him. He seems like the kind of guy who can get the crowd behind him and cheer for him to get the gold, but come just short of winning. If they build this right, they could have O'Reilly challenge for the belt, lose, and have Younger challenge next and win. I doubt they're going to have Cole try to have the longest reign in company history, but a nice long reign can do good for him.

Shit, they kept the TEN post-ladder match stuff off the DVD. Damn was really looking forward to the Strong/Excalibur speeches when I get around to ordering it. They have put post match/end show speeches on DVD's before, so I really can't understand them leaving them off, especially on the tenth anniversary DVD!

I'm okay with the name. Namely because the group itself is so strong. I'm definitely interested in seeing how they explain the alliance and how the stable works as a whole moving forward.
I'm kind of surprised that O'Reily won, but not upset. I'm just glad Gargano didn't win the tournament when the guy's brand freakin' new to PWG. I
I certainly think there are some good things in the works with the BOLA fallout. Both Younger and Kyle could be made into full fledged stars from this, depending on how they book them.
And, it really brings everything full circle if O'Reily has to fend off his old buddy's stable to get his shot at the champ.
In a perfect world, O'Reily or Younger take the belt off of Cole. Then Elgin comes in like the beast he is and on the next show destroys them for the strap to shake things up after Cole's lengthy reign. And, to give whoever loses the strap some renewed fire to go back after it. Setting the table for Cole's attempt to regain it, whoever loses it's attempt, whoever didn't win it's attempt, and anybody else they got in mind. Like, a Cage vs. Elgin match where the machines implode over the PWG title sounds sick to me.

The thing to remember with Drake is that he is a regular over in Big Japan, gets booked fairly consistently in WXW Germany. I know PWG doesn't run many shows, but right now Japan is his big money maker and making him the champ could be risky as he could end up missing a show here or there.

THE MOUNT RUSHMORE OF WRESTLING, baby! The thing to remember with Drake is that he is a regular over in Big Japan, gets booked fairly consistently in WXW Germany. I know PWG doesn't run many shows, but right now Japan is his big money maker and making him the champ could be risky as he could end up missing a show here or there. He's in Japan significantly less now because he's turning down deathmatches.

Man, Steen really reminded me of Foley in that promo. Specifically the Cactus Jack promo after the crowd chanted Austin while DX beat down Funk and him.
Awesome promo. I'm now fully behind this.
