I don't know, I kinda felt that the Hero/O'Reilly match was par for the course for any singles PWG title match that Chris Hero's in. They're usually long and plodding with an emphasis on strikes, mat wrestling, and submission holds.

So when a suspiciously similar looking man to Kevin Steen shows up in NXT, what's our reasoning? Twin brother? Clone? "the role of Bull Dempsey is now being played by Kevin Steen".

Thanks for the replies, somehow deleted my original comment without realising. That's what happens when you try posting on your phone hungover...haha I am really happy Kazarian had an overall successful return after so many years away. Good on him! ACH cannot be stopped! What a guy and I predict a future PWG Champion. Hopefully he gets a title shot soon, because that match he had with O'Reilly on his debut BOLA weekend was outstanding and one of my all time favorite PWG singles matches. Cannot wait for him vs OMEGA next month. A great way for STEEN to go out by the sound of it! Putting over a very worthy guy and someone with a massive future in PWG/in wrestling (its crazy how quickly I became a massive mark for Lee, great talent). Also gave Rushmore more heat (and I think its great they are staying together, maybe another member or two at BOLA?). Very well booked BEST FRIENDS! I loving the direction that Roddy is going in, should be a great match that I assume him and O'Reilly will have after BOLA now.... Congrats to the WCTT! Can't wait for my next payday so I can order this thing! DAT PREVIEW for it will be up in the next week right? Its normally about that isn't it... Credit to people on tumblr for all these pics in the spoiler.

They're usually long and plodding with an emphasis on strikes, mat wrestling, and submission holds. Yeah, being there live for it was super fun but after the match it felt like they went way overkill on the strikes falses finishes. Plus there was one ridiculously dangerous suplex by hero that looked like it broke Kyle's neck. The opener was extremely hit, partially because Rocky put on a better than usual match/Ciampa being a damn BEAST and partially because the crowd was SO ready to go after the wait in the heat. It was a great moment for me though when they dove and crashed literally right in front of me. Steen's match obviously was really one sided but Trevor Lee's a good enough performer to acknowledge and handle that. He still came off looking really good and I think the guy will go far, but the crowd reaction to that match's finish was priceless.

Damn. Just got back to the hotel room and f*** YES that was a great show. That last match for the Tag Titles!!! Everything about it exceeded my expectations. Rereading this thread I think I was sitting in front of some FAN friends. I was the guy in the purple shirt with the tattoos and the camera. Anyway,so tired and sweaty. And that young guy from Hot Tub Time Machine was there. He seemed cool and very into the show. So I was sitting behind you. I figured it was you, but didn't want to ask because I don't know, I guess if it wasn't you I didn't want to embarrass myself. I just got back to my house after the show. Great show, although not one of the best anniversary shows I've been to. I'd say Threemendous III and II are my favorite anniversary shows since I started going to Reseda in 2009, but still awesome. Anyways, some small mental notes I took during the show. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}- Excalibur and Super Dragon were really heavy on booking matches the extremely close 3 counts tonight. They definitely built-up the drama. - Overly snarky fans suck. The end. - I'll be honest, I kinda felt bad for Trevor Lee during his match with Steen. The guy damn near killed himself and not once did anybody cheer for him. I mean, I understand why; in fact I was rooting for Kevin the whole time too. I just kinda felt bad for Trevor because he's awesome and deserved a bit better. -Fat Elvis Ref sucks. I miss the other guy who used to ref alongside Rick Knox. It seems he walked away from PWG once he got married about a year and a half ago. - Roddy broke my heart by attacking O'Reilly after his match with Hero. Just, why, Roddy? Why? -Kaz and Kendrick were awesome. I can't wait for Bad Influence at BOLA next month. - The Bucks are starting to get Austin pops now. They're getting more outright vocal support. This is a good thing. - Candice is an amazing wrestling and one tough gal. I'm still gonna boo the hell out of her though. All in all I had a good time hanging out with Gob is Insane, Lazlo Panaflex, Numero 99(sort of), and "American Cream" Dusty Loads. Have a safe trip back to New York by the way. Thanks for holdin a spot, dude! Had an awesome time, even the gf had fun despite the heat. Sorry we got separated after intermission, we needed to enjoy the fresh air as long as possible.

My eyes were popped the whole night and my jaw was dropped. Tonight was the best wrestling show I've ever been to. The first PWG show is certainly one I'll never forget. Even got some selfies with Kevin Steen and the Young Bucks Hero/O'Reilly took me out of the night though, but that was mainly cause our area kept going on Hero's body. That main event more than made up for it though. Holy shit that was brutal and fun! And Gob, it was good talking to you unknowingly while getting inside. Hope you enjoy all 3 nights of BOLA! XD No problem! Wait, are you Xavier Woods?

Ah, don't mention it. Just helping a fellow FAN member out, no big deal. I'd do it anytime. If you're back in LA anytime soon, let me know.

I'm so f***ing stoked for O'Reilly/Roddy. Roddy brings his A-game when it comes to PWG and O'Reilly has been on a tear for a year now.

I love Candice's use of the white attire that she wore. If you're going to bleed, make sure you wear something that can really show it -- and she did just that.
Corino did it too. He wore a full white suit during a street fight in ROH with Steen against Generico and Cabana. A great man.

For those that went, how did Hero look? There have been some, shall we say, less than flattering pics floating around that I hope are just caught at a bad time.
