Where do you suggest these guys go? Since the general consensus seems to be "WWE Guys suck and can't wrestle because they're homogenized and lame and need more seasoning so they can actually become worth watching" where do you suggest they go to actually become a "good worker"? I did not say this at all, nor did anyone else here, so I'm not sure where the quotation marks come from. Ex-WWE guys do plenty well on the independent scene, especially the year after they get fired. There are companies we talk about here like PWG, ROH, CZW, etc. but there are THOUSANDS more places around the country where guys like Chris Masters and Carlito still make a good living. But, again, I never said Rodriguez or Curt Hawkins was bad. They're just not as conducive* to this one specific company. The entire wrestling world does not need to revolve around WWE. *I think even a guy like Brian Kendrick, who I adore and has been to PWG plenty of times, sticks out like a sore thumb in PWG, though the ELEVEN match could be great. Okay, I apologize if I came off as attacking you. But it just frustrates me at how "WWE guys" can be written off at times. Here's the thing (/tripleh), There are lots of promotions all over the country. But no one seems to hear or talk about them. I agree that the entire wrestling world doesn't need to revolve around WWE. I agree that lots of ex-WWE guys do well. There are thousands of small indy promotions, but PWG, RoH, CZW, Gabe's promotions, Chikara etc. seem like they're the only indy feds that "matter"; if you're not wrestling for one of those places, you might as well not exist. Guys like Chris Masters, Carlito, John Morrison, and Ted DiBiase Jr still make a living, but because they're not wrestling for places like PWG, no one seems to talk about them as much as they do someone like Kevin Steen or Roderick Strong. THAT's what I want for guys like Hawkins and Ricardo. To get the big buzz that the elite indy stars get. To get the opportunity to earn widespread reverence and respect from the fans that they never got to do in WWE.

and I think the point here is that you're acting like the wrestling world revolves around WWE if you think the PWG exists just to help ex-WWE guys get buzz

I was thinking yesterday that with the return of the BOLA 3 supercards weekend, would PWG consider doing the first ever two night DDT this year? Which would be epic, especially with how great the indy tag scene is right now
WCTT Young Bucks Bad Influence The Inner City Machine Guns Motor City Machine Guns (the only problem would be finding a weekend where Shelley won't be having his commitments in Japan) London and Kendrick Best Friends (when Trent? is better) One time only Future Shock reunion Returning SSB Unbreakable F'n Machines RockNES Monsters (hopefully Goodtime doesn't retire) PPRay
It would be expensive for them but damn would they get it back over the two nights and in dvd sales

Ah, didn't realize. Well the return of that then or a 3 nighter would be incredible. Add Romero/Kozlov and African American Wolves to that list as well once Fox is better

I was reading an old super dragon q&a, he almost booked bryan vs angle, that would've been awesome. Is it too late to change my bola winner prediction? I'm torn between ricochet and strong...

It's been said before and I will say it again. I miss when Excalibur used to do the match write up previews on the website (with the match graphics) The only image I could find of when he used to do it

How long is Andrew Everrett supposed to be out for again? He would be a great replacement for one of the two or three(?) spots, and would live up to the rest of the participants in BOLA

I'm kinda hoping for a Bobby Fish appearance myself. I think it'd be pretty cool to see what he could do in a PWG environment.

On another PWG note, the 3 disc Super Dragon DVD they produced is fantastic. Menus are all beautiful and a really good selection of matches (including some not listed on the box).

I assume that the Night 1 Young Bucks vs. Best Friends of Low Moral Fiber, will now become Young Bucks vs Men of Low Moral Fiber right?
Nice replacements, I happy for Candice, but I haven't seen much of Fish. It seems like from all the highlights that I have seen of reDRagon in ROH he never gets as much time to show himself in tag matches as much as Kyle (mostly playing face in peril). Maybe it is just me or the one's I have seen of them teaming together. What is he like as a singles competitor? Does he have a good move set/good at selling?

Man Fish is awesome, he's a legit tough guy, has a nice record as a kick boxer and has even fought at mma, he worked at the first Evolve shows, he had an awesome match with Dragon during the time the wwe let him go after the tie incident, he slimmed down a bit, but he's still a bad mofo.

To me in ROH, he's the stand out performer of reDRagon, which is saying something considering how good O'Reilly has been for the past year or so. He's the "leader" of the team in the way it is presented. As for singles stuff I haven't seen much, him and Kyle team on most ROH shows and Bobby rarely gets a chance to go up against good competition in singles action (e.g. his last singles match was at Aftershock vs. Cheeseburger so...). I remember him having a really good 10 minute match with Jay Briscoe at the turn of the year. But yeah, super talented dude and I'm sure he'll be great at BOLA. I just hope he goes reasonably far so that he gets a chance to establish himself.

Holy shit! I was wrong about the six man tag on night 1
We need a new name for this original team of Sabre Jr/Taylor/Omega!
