all i really know about Trevor Lee is that he needs to change his look, as all this potentially new exposure what with Kevin Steen and the other PWG alums in NXT as well as celebrities showing up and having it reported on TMZ and such can bring new viewers in to check out PWG, i can see this... ...easily turning them off. if he wants to have a hairy gimmick or just doesn't want to shave and/or wax his legs, fine, but wear some tights or at least bike shorts. and for god sake, don't go with generic black

Nobody else of note on the US indie scene or really anywhere aside from Katsuyori Shibata rocks that gear. I think his look is fine just the way it is.

I disagree man, he could use a logo at least in my opinion. I think he has the body type to get looked at by the WWE, but he needs to shave, VKM can't get turned on by hairy guys.

Vince won't hire Trevor Lee to be a sports entertainer. No, Trever Lee will BE the bear skin rug.

As far as Trevor Lee goes I feel there is absolutely no problem with his look, infact it is one of the things I love about him. It looks inherently old school (like a hardcore guy from the territory days), like he is a lose cannon eccentric type. As Digital Witness says his dojo style gear really goes well with him.
To compliment his above look I love his movement/body language/presence it's just something about it that is so different. It's like Foley mixed with Steen mixed with Magnum T.A. It's a certain sort of charisma that is so hard to find and grasp. It's the eccentric Jeff Hardy kind to put it that way. With his twitching movements and his great hands on hips pose that is so damn marketable for merch. It just all works with me. And then mix in how well he flows and bounces around the ring (white boys can jump!), his selling, his refreshing and different moveset and you have a recipe for success. As another poster has said there is a reason why he is as over as he is and why his push doesn't feel forced, it all works, at least to the Reseda crowd. Don't fix what isn't broken.
To me the push is going at exactly the right pace. He hasn't got a title shot yet but he is getting important and worthy wins, slowly building up his credibility. Maybe in 3 or 4 shows time, that's when you give him the shot. But I would definitely put him against Ricochet, Roddy and O'Reilly first (depending on who is champ out of O'Reilly and Ricochet). Definitely need to have Lee vs ACH down the line as well. If they gace him a title shot before Ricochet I could completely understand why people might find the booking a bit suspect, but I think they know they need to build him up gradually throughout the roster before giving him a shot. Yep it's safe to say I am already a massive mark for the guy and look forward to where he goes as a PWG standout.
Hopefully the preview video will be up this week!

I could have not explained why Trevor Lee works in PWG better than you did.

I wish I could still find video of that fat guy falling out of his chair. It was nice to have something that would always make me laugh.

Damn I quickly scrolled down the page past the text and saw a video was loading (not knowing it was the Cobana related one), thinking it was the Untitled II preview

Finally watching BOLA night two and smh at these fans chanting boring at Gulak and chain wrestling. Guess anything that isn't 5 topes a match and 10 false finishes a match aren't over in Reseda

I finished BOLA 2014 last night, here are my favourite matches; • Mount Rushmore vs Friends of Low Moral Fibre • Biff Busick & Drew Gulak vs ReDragon • Adam Cole vs Zack Sabre jr • ACH vs Kenny Omega • TJ Perkins vs Ricochet • Michael Elgin vs Trevor Lee • Kenny Omega vs Matt Sydal • Team Busick (Biff Busick, Cedric Alexander, Tommaso Ciampa, Bobby Fish, & Drew Gulak) vs. Team Hero (Chris Hero, Willie Mack, Joey Ryan, Rich Swann, & Chuck Taylor) • Kenny Omega vs Ricochet
Great show, needed more PPRay (all day) though.
4/5

In fact, Gulak got over with those same guys by the end of the weekend. Gulak and his epic entrance coat got over just fine with the rest of the PWG crowd.

It had athleticism, comedy and some drama as well. Perfect blend for wrestling. I can't remember which night it was, I think it was Young Bucks vs Daniels/Kaz, but at one point one of the Bucks slams an opponent on the apron and he just looks at hard camera for a solid 10 seconds w/ a face that says "oh yeah, I just did that!" and the camera kind of zooms in on him. Very cool moment.

www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/merch/winter/I've been waiting for this, but I'm pretty bummed that it doesn't have more 2014 titles since I'm behind right now. I guess I'll pick up ELEVEN, the El Generico comp and Super Dragon comp with some oldies.
