I've been watching 1998 WWF for the last few days and I'm up to Unforgiven: IYH and the Inferno Match, and I was absolutely STUNNED when Vader came out for a run-in because I literally had no memory of that happening. Not only did he make a run-in, but he was right there when Taker leapt over the flames onto him and Kane.
I had always remembered it as Taker just jumping on Kane. Even when they used to show clips of that dive, I never saw Vader; maybe WWF/E did that intentionally or whatever but it's so odd to go back and watch things play out differently than what you vividly remember.

Money in the Bank at Mania 24 and 25 completely bleed together for me, so I can't watch the 25 match (like, for instance, on the Ladder Match 2 set - no idea why it's on there, it's probably the worst Money in the Bank match) without wondering where the hell Matt Hardy's at when MVP's nearing the briefcase. The only reason I even realize that right now is I re-watched Ladder Match 2 like two days ago.

I honestly did not remember TLC II being announced prior to WM17. I just remember turning on the show and going "Sweet, a TLC match!" Yet going back and watching the shows leading up to it, it was very clearly set up and announced ahead of time. I have no idea why I don't remember that.

Some people seem to have fudgy memories of the Barber Shop incident. People will often mention that Shawn kicked Marty through the window, which isn't really plausible. What really happened is that Shawn kicked Marty, picked him up, and threw him into the window. {Spoiler}Alternatively, you can believe the Bobby Heenan recollection of events where that cowardly Marty dived through the window to get away from Shawn Michaels.

I alot of 2003 to 2005ish just bleeds together in a great, big blur to me.
It had some nice highlights, but man was it unremarkable looking back on it.

The Big Boss Man apparently raised the briefcase, although personally I think that's a myth and the poor guy has been framed by the White Hummer driver.
Also Ric Flair should be Austin's slave.

Miz debuting as a wacky jokester rebel fratboy face before being taken off of TV and repackaged into a dorky obnoxious heel.

Miz debuting as a wacky jokester rebel fratboy face before being taken off of TV and repackaged into a dorky obnoxious heel. Ah, the OOH-RAH! days. I think it was the Dirt Sheet where he hit his stride. On a similar note, sometimes I forget Nitro debuted on RAW as Bischoff's assistant and as a ref. In my mind, MNM was his debut.
