Does anyone have that new game Five Nights at Freddy's? Is it as good as people say it is? It gets boring quickly. Fun if you play with a friend and you're both easily scared though. (Sitting in the same room that is, no co-op.)

Update on that GE:S thing. You don't need HL:2 at all. All you need is to download the SDKbase 2007 from the tools section and then download the game from this website: www.moddb.com/mods/goldeneye-sourceGet this game. It's pretty fun.

New Weekly Bundle is up for Humble Bundle now. This time it's the Extra Credits Bundle. Most of the games I've never heard of until now, but they all look pretty interesting. Right now though the BTA tier is priced pretty high so I don't know how worthwhile it is. However the first tier is worth it for One Finger Death Punch alone. That's a pretty fun game from what I've played. Definitely a unique one as well. And Enemy Mind definitely interests me as well. Hand of Fate definitely sounds promising, but it's also early access so I'm a little wary about that one. Master Reboot is worth it as well. That game is so interesting and graphically it looks great. The story in and of itself though is what caught me. Great call, once you get past the linear maps (invisible walls to make the world look bigger) and get 20 minutes in the story just envelops you and the invisible walls and all manner of things actually fit in the game world. One of those games that I assumed would be not very good but ended up being very tense & worth the playtime.

I guess you just need that Source Base Engine and I guess the game download takes care of everything else. Also, I can't emphasize it enough. Download this game. It's a really awesome nostalgia trip. In fact, it's so good, I remembered how impossible it is to aim; that the only way to kill somebody is to shoot them in the face. Not only that, but it's free. Free games, are good, right? If you do download it, add me a a friend on steam(commfett47, btw) and lets start FPSing like it's 1997 all over again.

Anyone know if Rise of the Samurai's any good for Shogun 2? Got the Fall last week on sale and am currently considering it and maybe a couple of clans. I haven't actually played it, but I've read a lot on it from the Total War Center forums. It is, apparently, pretty good. Quite different from the vanilla game. Not going to lie, I don't want to play it because the period where the Samurai declined just feels so wrong to me. Also: to anyone who's a fan of Mass Effect and runs at least a medium-end rig, I can't recommend MEUITM enough. I'll take some screenies when I boot it up and post them on here for anyone who wants to take a gander.

Bought the humble bundle with Crusader Kings II. Now I have even more games I have never played and probably never will.

Bought the humble bundle with Crusader Kings II. Now I have even more games I have never played and probably never will. Great call. CK2 is a complicated game but it's a blast when you get the hang of it. If you're a fan of Elder Scrolls, there's a really cool TES mod for it that's been out for a while. There's also a Game of Thrones mod too (with scenarios before and after the show's timeline). Here's some screens for MEUITM. Nothing fancy, but I just pulled up some armor textures and character models to show how they've improved (especially Garrus and Wrex; PC ME1 is infamous for the low-res Garrus face): All in all an easy mod to run. Being able to download and use it with one simple launcher simplifies matters quite a bit. My only complaint is that there's a bug that causes a crash on reload in a couple of very specific places that use the same resources. Those few exceptions aside, it seems bug-free.

Dishonored is having a free weekend. Just thought I'd let you guys know if you were on the fence. I've never played it before but running around like a gigantic asshole and teleporting everywhere is pretty fun.

They've got a pretty good Flash Humble Bundle going right now: the Modern Retro Bundle. This one includes Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, Full Bore, Tiny Barbarian DX, NEStalgia, and The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures with the latter two as part of the second tier. And you don't have to pay more then six dollars to get everything. Super Amazing Wagon Adventure is one I've been considering for awhile as it is and Full Bore sounds... interesting, at least. And The AVGN Adventures is another one I've been interested in trying out for awhile. So I'd say this one is a pretty good deal.

I can't justify the humble flash bundle.
I know its only 6 bucks for quite a few games, but I have so many of these "retro" games that I will never play in my steam library I can't justify adding anymore.
I've been playing Bioshock Infinite recently, It's blown my mind, I've gotten a hell of alot of playtime out of it, instead of following the arrow I've been wandering around and absorbing the atmosphere and storyline (you miss out on so much if you dont explore) finished the main game the other day and am now on the Burial at Sea DLC, I really enjoyed the first episode, but the second one brings it to a new level, I don't normally buy DLC (unless a goty edition) but the season pass was on offer the other week and I was enjoying the main game so much I thought what the hell? the DLC is really worth playing, the second episode is heavily stealth focused and you play as Elizabeth, both episodes of the DLC add quite a bit to the story and bridge Rapture and Columbia together.

That sucks. Nope if you activate it and you have it its gone. Normally I create gift links, but I didnt know I had this one so I activated and now its gone I can't justify the humble flash bundle. So humble bundle have a new feature on their site that shows you your unredeemed games.
I have the following up for grabs, first come first served, one game per person:
Antichamber Hitman 2 Hitman Code 47 PixelJunk Eden Thief Gold
One per person, Quote me in this thread so I get a notification and I will PM you the game key, don't PM me first as if you do that others can't see that the game has been claimed.
I also have a code for a month of turbo twitch. If you use twitch you can have it even if youve claimed a game, but be quick, code runs out 1st September
