It should be 90% off for a day or two after it comes off of being free.

Payday 2 is one of the more fun co-op games out there, and the DLC only makes it better. Plus the devs are active in the community and there has been tons of free new content. Definitely that and Don't Starve are my 2 recommends out of the 10.

Yeah, and there's a buttload of new free content coming for Payday 2 in the coming weeks. I can not recommend the game enough as a co-op game. Solo it's not so hot, but co-op it is so much fun.

I have some more duplicates, I forgot I bought the Mozila one, so ended up buying it twice , I've also bought a few bundles for games that look interesting only to find I already have those games (I really shouldn't be impulse buying bundles whilst in work). usual rules. first comes first served. Don't PM me instead quote me in this thread (so others can see it has been claimed and so I get a notification). one game per person. AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome x2 Dustforce DX x2 Super Hexagon (1 left) Ftl: Advance Edition
Zenbound 2 Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD Thunder Wolves The Void Cargo:The Quest for Gravitythere are more on other sites, I'll find out what tommorrow and update Nice one man, I'd like to check out Dustforce if possible?

With Skyrim, that's really a matter of what kind of mods you run though. Vanilla Skyrim or even Skyrim with HD textures and ENB isn't a problem, but you take some of the script-heavy mods and things can crash like crazy sometimes. In Payday, what is it, a matter of actual game performance, or is it things that just crush the video memory? Yeah, I'll admit adding shit like extra gore makes Skyrim chug pretty bad due to all the guts falling out etc. But with Payday, it'll run fine until you get into really heavy combat, you know, when you don't want it to and it ends up that there's cops throwing smoke, breaching walls, firing guns out the wazoo and tazing you and it becomes unplayable, unfortunately. It's weird, Left 4 Dead 2 runs fine, I always figured they'd be similar enough to not pose a problem, with L4D being even more intensive. I think a great deal of that has got to do with the engine. Looking at Wiki, Payday apparently uses some old game engine called Diesel, which although updated and modified, seems to be fundamentally outdated. It's definitely no Source, which is not only newer, but one of the most versatile engines around (and superbly equipped to deal with tons of AI behavior and player activity). That'd probably be why L4D2 runs so much more smoothly.

Hope none of you guys were planning on buying Paranautical Activity when it came out of early access. Dev had a massive meltdown and threatened to kill Gabe Newell which got his game removed from steam. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy honestly.

Saddest part is he did make some good points but, you know, when you follow that up with death threats, even jokingly, making good points kind of loses its meaning.

I mean, they don't bring up him begging people on the forums to upvote positive reviews on the store page and leaving his own review on the store page but they hit most of the good points. And the funny thing is that if he'd been mature and informed Valve of this then they would have fixed it quickly (by the time he was bitching on twitter it was already showing as new on steam on the German steam storefront) and they would have left him in the ticker for longer as compensation. I suspect that they were already turned off of him false advertising co-op for Paranautical Activity about five months after the fact that he realised that he wouldn't be able to put it into the game. Dude also still hasn't put in Oculus Rift support which is something that he is contractually obligated to since his kickstarter was succesful. But nope gigantic baby man has gigantic baby tantrum. And the game isn't even that fun to begin with. There's better procedurally generated shooters out there like Heavy Bullets and Tower of Guns with genuinely humble guys behind them.

For those of us who had Paranautical Activity via bundles does it get removed from our database of games on Steam?
I never played it/had it installed but I see that I can download it still.
Odd news though, threats aren't something to throw about.

It's one of those times where I think all creative people who have something put out properly should NOT be allowed near social networks for 48 hours after release. Most people work 15 hour shifts in the run up to such things so we're all a bit insane until we have rest, and clearly the 20 year old dev didn't have anyone to tell him 'chill out, lie down, sleep.' Hopefully he'll learn from this and he can apologize and prove he would never follow through with such a threat. The fact the kid would do that anyway proves he's not exactly mature/capable enough to work the stress well, so he needs equal parts help and utter condemnation on that front. I feel bad for the other dev on the team though, hopefully he can match up with someone a little less stressed out.

He certainly overreacted and seems to have some issues but I wouldn't say he's an idiot. Keep in mind this wasn't the first problem he had with Steam, what with them screwing him out of a deal with Adult Swim among other things, so it's the result of a lot of pent-up frustration. he went abut it the completely wrong way but it's not like it came out of nowhere.

Apparently Payday's getting an update that adds "John Wick" as a playable character. Which it turns out is a new Keanu Reeves film. I mean, I'm all for it if we get Keanu's disinterested "Whoa" voice in! Now if only they'd bring it to console....

Has there actually been a single update to Payday 2 on consoles after the first month of release? I know the devs said "it costs $50,000+ to put updates online, or make DLC available so hahaha, no" but surely existing bugs/a huge additional DLC combo pack would be put forth?
