So I'm a huge fan of Caves of Qud. I've just completely fallen in love with it. It has simple graphics, but a lot of fun and depth.

Breach & Clear is on sale for $2.24 on the Humble Store. Excellent tactical strategy game featuring special forces in simultaneous-turn-combat against insurgent forces. There are a few different mission types and loads of missions within each type. There's Terrorist Hunt (kill all the baddies on a map), Bomb Defusing (find and defuse bombs in the allotted amount of time), and Escape Plan (get to the exit). It's surprisingly good, and $2.24 is not much for such a fun game. Your soldiers level up as you gain experience from doing missions and you can assign stat points to them. As you complete missions on different difficulties you will get money & stars. Money is used for gear, weapons, weapon accessories like optical sights and so on. Up to 4 stars will be granted for each completed mission on each difficulty (4 stars is the maximum, repeated attempts will not get you more than four per mission per difficulty). As you gain stars you will gain access to more weapons to use. It's a hell of a lot of fun, I am having trouble putting it down to go to bed.

Just be sure to upgrade everyone equally, I got to Germany with one dude still using the default rifle and paid dearly for it.

Bumping with a double post, but f*** it, I have to brag about my successes in Napolean: Total War.
Now, usually, I do alright in Total War campaigns. I'll make it to the end, but it'll be a messy process, I'll struggle financially a bit at times, and lose a fair amount of men.
But not this time!
I managed to upgrade all my farms etc off the bat, then proceeded to blockade all the French ports after crushing their navy off the bat. This left them unable to get any forces across the channel to attack me, so I massed a force in London, before sending them West to capture Brittany.
From there, we pushed West, and have currently managed to force the French back to Brussels, taking Paris & Picardie-Champagne.
Oh, and whilst this is all going on, I've also been holding the Spanish off at Gibraltar. What started as a small force of two line infantry units, two units of armed peasants & a unit of mounted Dragoons defending a fort against superior forces has evolved into a large force of heavy Dragoons & well trained soldiers marching upon Madrid itself with ease, only falling back when our General was assassinated before battle.
Oh, and upon falling back, we were attacked just outside Madrid in a small town, leaving 1000 of our foot soldiers & a unit of horsemen to hole up inside the church & town hall as 2000+ Spaniards with cannons bearing down on them.
And we f***ing won that too. Swept the cavalry up & behind their lines, wiped their artillery out, then falling back into town to dismount & join the infantry inside the house. The pile of corpses outside the town was amazing.
So yeah, pretty much just story time, but it was so goddamn satisfying for everything to go so right.
Oh, and I had one of my Gentlemen duel two Frenchmen & kill 'em both. So that was neat.

So, this seems like the best place to put this: I just wanted to double check before I bought an outdated version, is TEW 13 the most recent version of the game? Or is there a TEW 15 or something?

Excited Smite is on Steam now.
Also, the newest Humble Bundle has Divekick for the midtier price, around 2.50 with a bunch of other stuff. It's amazing, highly recommend.

Smite's great, but not going to reinstall it/copy it under Steam. I'm happy with the actual launcher. Really fun game, it requires similar knowledge to DOTA/LoL but different skills.

It's the same actually, no different except Steam has Steam achievements and TRADING CARDS! But still launches same launcher and everything.

Yeah, I don't see the need for the extra step. I don't collect the cards or use the steam wallet, but it's great for those that do.

Suprised they gave that away instead of the older Penumbra. Good game either way and recommend anyone who hasn't got it to pick it up.

WWE 2K15 is on sale for $12.50 on Greenmangaming w/ promo code SAVE23-WITHGM-GSEP15 Is it a decent port? I've heard both good and bad things about it... but I haven't played a WWE game past the PS2 generation and I'm kind of interested.

Not really. WWE 2k15 suffers from poor optimization, lack of options in create a wrestler, and slowdown. It has this bad flaw when you go in for the tie up/chain wrestling segment at the start that it slows down to about 15 FPS. Even the entrances run slow at times. And my PC is way above the recommended specs. Hoping it's just them working out the kinks and 16 will be better when it hits the PC.

Good to know before I spent any money on it. I'll keep going with FPR and the last WWE one I have. I don't even remember the year of it.
