I recall a 1999 episode taking place at the SkyDome once, and it was pretty packed. Always thought that was an odd idea, but it worked.

Wasn't it the Georgia Dome?
WCW ran Nito there a few times then WWF ran a few Raws there

They ran in the Georgia Dome a couple of time (1999 and 2001, I believe) and The Skydome (1997 and 1998 or 1999).
But I don't think Raw has ever been held in a baseball arena.

Have WWE really done any shows in baseball arenas?
I know they did Mania at safeco field one year but I can't really think of any others (granted the only baseball stadium I really know of is safeco field because I was in Seattle a few weeks ago and loads of baseball fans got on the metro at safeco field)
I know TNA did a few house shows at minor league stadiums last summer.

I'd love for Raw to come from more varied locations, be they giant baseball arenas, the Hammerstein ball room or anything in-between. Plus I do like a wrestling show held outdoors.

To my knowledge, Raw only did the SkyDome once in February 1999. I remember it was considered a big deal at the time, because it aired live in Canada, and TSN had an entire WWF-themed night building up to it, with wrestlers showing up on Off The Record and a host of their other programming. IIRC, it was on tape delay in the States and didn't even air there until Friday. That's the only time I ever recall Canadians seeing it live and the States getting it on tape delay. Nowadays, it's usually the other way around.

I really like when big wrestling events are outdoors and I normally don't care too much about the stage setup.
One of the few things about wrestlemania 9 I liked.

I would like to see a Wrestlemania in Safeco Field with the extremely long ramp again. Imagine someone like Cena or Bryan trying to run down it, or Orton or Taker taking their sweet time walking down it,

I don't know if they've done Baseball stadium shows since Mania XIX.

Honestly they'd have to hype that episode to hell and have a heck of a lineup to fill enough of a stadium to be worth it.

Are they still "WWE's favorite band in the whole world"?

Aside from the showdown at shea-shows WWE also held WrestleFest 1988 in a baseball-stadium ( Milwaukee County Stadium). Aside from the Skydome, the RAW was held at the Georgiadome twice as well (see here www.thehistoryofwwe.com/georgiadome.htm ). WCW used the Georgiadom, the Alamodome, the skydome (once)and the TWA Dome www.prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/usa/wcw/stadium.html)

See i think they could run MLB or AAA level parks in early October/Late September and call it the fall classic tour or something like that. I mean AAA is over by this weekend. Doing a few shows in September at the bigger better Minor stadiums would look nice.

There was a rumor they're considering running the Raw after Mania in the Superdome. Which... On one hand I hope not because I want to actually be able to hear the reactions, but on the other I plan to be there so I'll hear the reactions regardless.

I think the show's star might've even been in attendence and got interviewed about how she was enjoying the action and then some how bringing up in conversation her show (I think the series premiere was right after this episode aired).

Only if they do something like a Wrestlemania bundle package where you get raw tickets cheaper and better seats if you just bought them separate for the night after Mania

I do remember that 1997 Raw in Skydome. It was before WWE was really hot (that started in the spring/summer of 98), but Canadian business was doing well and they ended up going to Canada a lot that year. It made the show feel really special. WCW ran Nitro in the Georgia Dome a few times and I went to a couple of the shows. WWE did one Raw there during the hot period and they did WrestleMania there a few years ago, but they usually run Philips Arena.

Dunno about Raw, but I'm foaming at the mouth (metaphorically) to have a major WWE PPV (preferably a Wrestlemania) at Busch Stadium. They could easily get a record setting 50,000+ with the floor seats.
