Am I the only one that didn't hate the kids in the first movie I liked the boy. He seemed o actually want to be there and knew what a dinosaur is. As opposed to shrieky the sisterbeast who pulled hacking out of her ass after being the bloody worst the entire movie.

I wonder if they would ever do a remake to make it closer to the book

I wonder if they would ever do a remake to make it closer to the book I think there are parts they may want to add, but I think there's a bit that improved from the book.

He died in the first book, but so did Malcolm, who didn't let that handicap keep him from being in the second book. It's been so long since I've read it that I forgot Hammond was eaten. They implied that Malcolm died so I guess he just decided to no sell death. How's that for Chaos Theory?

I might see this actually. But I hope they embrace the ridiculousness. Because let's face it, this is a Sy-Fy Channel Original Movie with a bigger budget and better actors.

As much as I like the first movie there is no reason why it should be on 4 channels at the same time

I just might be very dissatisfied if my wishes for the film (involving Chris Pratt punching dinosaurs and turning into a dinosaur) aren't met.

Are any of the grand kids characters from the first movie in this one. I think over 20 years later, you can use one of those characters obviously played by different actors but still.

You mean Lex and Tim? I don't think they are in it. And based on their experience in the first film, I can understand why neither of them would ever want to visit a dinosaur park again.

Well I wouldn't either, still if wanted some link to the old films, they are characters you could use and recast and no one is going to through a hissy fit. If you try to recast Jeff Goldblum's character people are going to go crazy.

I could totally see Tim being involved again. For all his terror he also showed a lot of interest. Mix in a little of grand-dad's crazy and I could easily see how he'd work in a future story.

Henry Wu is back in this movie. I always liked him. I always thought he was one of the most critical characters to the overall story. I always believed he was the mad scientist that was fueled by the mad kabillionare's dreams. In my mind, he's mostly responsible for the genetic mistakes and the carelessness of diving into the unknown head first without a second thought. Hoping the cloneasaurus is Wu's attempt at trying to create a Godzillasaurus to fulfill his childhood dreams.

In the original book, Wu wanted to create more docile dinosaurs. Ironically in this film, he creates the Indominus Rex, which is basically the dinosaur version of Hannibal Lecter.
