I love the gimmick, but they need to ditch the "we're here" part of the intro. It only should have been used at the debut. Whole thing is too staged to carry weight beyond that. Just have the lights go out, the music start and Bray enter with the lantern. Also, have them do more of the promos that got them noticed. Stuff like the shrimp-boat promo, or the monsters are real one. Agreed. Aside from that, I'm still loving them.

They don't seem to have anything to do at the moment which means they have lost the momentum the Kane feud should have given them.
Still the entrance is awesome and always gets a pop from the crowd. Bray Wyatt's promo skills are excellent and they are solid in the ring.
Maybe a face turn to take on the Shield would be interesting? You can say Wyatt is crazy/delusional enough to want to take on the new corporation - it's not that big a leap of logic to make?

If they turned face and opposed the Corporation, it would give HHH and Steph a major problem. They can't threaten them with dismissal because the Wyatts just wouldn't care whether they were employed or not. They'd still show up and stir up some shit. They can't threaten them with being broke because they already look like they live on an old boat. I doubt the Wyatts care much about supporting their families either. They probably ate their families.

they're building. right now they're stuck in limbo until Kane comes back.
they JUST debuted a short while back on the main roster.
i'm still very much into the character and it has loads of potential.
i disagree it's failed. haven't even had a chance to fail yet. the first feud is still on stasis.
patience.
seriously.
also Sister Abigail is an amazing name for an awesome finisher. the kiss before has purpose. the explanation great.
and the dude can cut a promo. vocal inflection, gestures, he has it DOWN. people complain it doesn't make sense. it's not supposed to.
i will be a fan until they actually neuter the guy. much like Orton before him when he was "crazy" he has the mannerisms and facial expressions down. dude was born to play this character.
and while the storyline and matches are a bit lukewarm, i still say it's a solid 8/10 for me.
they've got fans. they're pretty awesome if you watch some of the shows they react to him, reach their arms out, it's great. if you can suspend belief, watch it from that childlike 'awe' that some of us had when we first started watching as kids, it's fun to watch.
i personally can easily get absorbed in a persona like this. right up my alley.

The gimmick and story seems fine to me, kind of hard to apply it since WWE isn't a movie or show where you kill characters off. And the "we're here" part of their entrance is just dumb to keep. I LOVED the debut, but now it's light lantern, we're here, blow out lanter. walk out with LED lantern that he can somehow blow out. Song is amazing though.

They spent ages getting things just right on NXT and even added some extra elements to their debut, Bray uses a lot of techniques used by real cult leaders and their attire, imagery, entrance etc fits the gimmick perfectly. Then they get to the main roster and...well the bookers don't seem to know what to do with them or really understand the gimmick.
They have a team of massive monsters and they've somehow made them look weak, Bray is a cult leader and as such should have a certain level of mystique but they've wasted that already as he struggles to win a match without the help of his goons, why would anybody want to follow him after he was beaten so comprehensively in that inferno match? At this point I don't think Bray should have even wrestled (certainly not more than one or two squash matches), the other two should be in tag matches or Harper could be competing alone, I would have loved to see Ziggler's selling of Harper's offence.
Worst of all Bray isn't getting enough promo time (promos that are meant to be vague so his followers can fill in the gaps with their own hopes and fears).
All of that would have helped differentiate them from other stables like The Shield that rely heavily on beat-downs and the numbers game.

I love their entrance and theme, but I'm not overly keen on everything else. But I think if given time they could actually be something really good. It's not the kind of gimmick you want to shove down people's throats twice a week. Like with The Shield, their badass justice thing worked because they were there to dominate the company and do their thing so weekly appearances was okay. But I think with the Wyatt family it's something that needs to build slowly, even if it means not being on TV for a week or two at the time.
I think it's something that could get very old very quick if it's given to us every show, or every week. They need to keep a mystery about them and make their appearances sporadic and weird - not just, "Hey The Wyatt family have a match tonight against 3MB... just because!" I think they're a group that need to have actual purpose behind everything they do, which WWE haven't had a great track record of.
I am looking forward to what happens when Kane returns, though.

I agree w/ opinion above that they should turn face and fight the power.
If not, ditch Husky and make the Luke and Rowan a big kick ass tag team. They're too useful to just be cannon fodder.

We're in the reality era. Silly, tongue-in-cheek gimmicks are fine but hearing Hunter talk about 'dis business' in one segment, then have the guy who kidnapped one of his employees prance about in the next absolutely strains credulity. It's a neat idea, but it doesn't really fit into what WWE is now at all. It's not their only problem, but they stick out like a sore thumb.
The gimmick only works if they have a larger presence. What does Wyatt and his family really gain from this?

I still like them, but the Family seem stuck in limbo after taking out Kane. This is where having enhancement matches would have helped. You're stuck having to get these guys to face "name wrestlers" (even though the value has dropped considerably). Or is it only Ryback gets to face jobbers to be built up?
The only reason Bray Wyatt should even wrestle an actual match is if some special guy can defeat the other two. His matches should be set aside as must-see moments.
Otherwise, I'm still a fan. I like the odd gimmicks. It gets away from the "everybody has the same body type, looks similar" era.

What does Wyatt and his family really gain from this? Well lets look at it totally in kayfabe. Pre SummerSlam Bryan was becoming a problem. Hunter, as COO probably had a little bit more information on Cena 's arm so he could see an outcome where The WWE is stuck with a midget troll as The Face of The Company and to his thinking that ain't good for Bizness. So he decides he needs to fix things. That's the beginning of the heel turn. But Bryan is popular and payed his dues, so now Hunter has to worry about The Lockerroom especially the "veteran leadership". He turns Orton with promises of fame. Him and Steph come up with a plan to bully and neutralize Show. Taker hasn 't been seen in a while and Cena is on the IR That only leaves one loos end. Daniel Bryans' tafteam partner and friend. Hunter realizes he 's not going to corrupt him, he can 't injure him, he's not going away, and even The Game can't bully the devil's favorite demon. So what's left other than getting the backwoods cultists to make him disapear and brainwash him for his returm. The Manchurian Kanedidate.

I like the gimmick and Bray does a good job. the problem is, they aren't doing anything particularly interesting. it's like "the Pirates who don't do anything" (to quote TVtropes) but instead it's "the R-rated exploitation film backwoods cult who don't do annything".

They need to turn face and join Daniel Bryan. They are already anti-establishment/authority/everything, so they'd fit in well. Orton has the SHIELD backing him up. Daniel Bryan would have the Wyatts. Interesting. They have history in Nexus too. It could work. Bryan needs to do something to even the odds a bit.

"If I were the booker" - I'd focus a bit more on what brought them to the party. The vignettes and promos. Right now, they're doing the same thing week in and week out. And "Follow the buzzards" isn't a catchphrase and it isn't indicative of what Bray can do. He needs to speak. Keep him off TV next week, just air a vignette back home with him preaching on top of a tree stump with 15 or so followers surrounding him. The next week, another vignette promo, but have him come out after it and wrestle. The next week, start causing a little chaos again. Have the lights go out in the middle of a match between, say, Kofi/Miz and Swagger/Cesaro and just annihilate all of them.
They've really just got to change things up. Right now, it's the same thing week after week and fans will get tired of that quickly. I have high hopes for this gimmick but they're not really pushing it in...I'd almost say the right direction, but they're not really pushing it in any direction. I get and appreciate slow burns, but this isn't slow burning, it's stagnation.

Seems like they called them up without having anything for them to do besides the Kane feud.
I'm kinda blah on them now. That first entrance on Raw was great though...then came that inferno match, bleh. Just not that interesting anymore.

Their storylines so far were awful. And I'm not a fan of Bray's wrestling. Everything else is good.
I hope for better things.
