UStream revealed overnight that they will be carrying the G1 Climax this year, and if you order all the shows in the next few days, you get a discount price of $110, which compared to $150 last year is a major steal. Individual shows are $15 for the smaller shows, and $25 for the bigger shows, so if you were planning to just get four big shows, you might as well spend the $110 and get all of them.
I'll probably do that, watch all the big shows, and just watch anything from the smaller ones I hear is great.

Wow, no one must have bought it last year for them to drop the price that much. $150 for 9 shows vs $110 for 12 shows. And you couldn't buy individual shows last year, could you?

Yeah, it's a change this year. Regardless, as of October, UStream are going to stop doing wrestling iPPVs, mainly because they couldn't handle all the customer service requests they kept getting, and I think there were payment issues they were having as well.

I'm wondering how much Ibushi has left. He seems to be injured more often than not.

Why does no British TV channel cover New Japan?
Couple of hours every week would draw.

I'm wondering how much Ibushi has left. He seems to be injured more often than not. Combination of his breakneck style and amount of wrestling dates he does. If anything, there is a outbreak of injuries happening to a number of name Japanese wrestlers. Half of NJPW is the walking injured.

Tomoaki Honma is Ibushi's replacement.

At least Honma will have good matches, even though he'll lose all but one or two of them.

Shibata vs Swagsuke sounds like a killer match up. I'm kinda curious about that Kojima/Nagata match up as they're the two old generation guys who can still really go besides Suzuki. Also, wtf @ Hiroyoshi Tenzan beating anybody in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2014, especially the Machine Gun.

I found the Nakamura/Shibata G1 match on daily motion. It was everything you'd expect between Shibata and Swagsuke, they beat the absolute piss out of each other.

Seen all but the last three matches. Ishii/Fale was a really good opener, I really liked Kojima and Nagata, Naito got a good match out of Yujiro, and Goto and Makabe went in SUPER HARD on each other. Been sold really hard on Nakamura/Shibata, and especially Styles' performance against Okada.
