So how does the NJPW network work? Is there an English site? yes, NJPW World works and is great, No, there is no english site as of now. With the reactions that the top brass a very surprised at the non-Japanese fanbase, they'll probably put up a english site up after WK9, until then use Google Translate and guides to get you signed up and moving around.

I'm going to buy NJPWW immediately once it gets a legit English version. Also, I love this picture of Tanahashi.

I don't think they had shoes like that in the Sengoku era.

I think Jim Ross doing commentary for GFW's presentation is the icing on top of this wonderful cake.
Just got done listening to the Battlefield review on Review-a-Wai.
Also, I do expect an English version of New Japan World to come out after Wrestle Kingdom 9.

It appears the Wrestle Kingdom card has been slightly changed. It's now going to be Smith, Archer, Benjamin and Iizuka against Yano and three mystery partners.

I can imagine the reaction.
Gedo: K.E.S., Benjamin, your booked for Wrestle Kingdom.
All three: Sweet! PPV payday!
Gedo: You're in the match with Yano and Iilzuka.
All three: ...****!!

I know it wouldn't make much sense, but it'd be sweet if the other two mystery partners were TMDK.

Yano isn't bad and believe it or not but Iizuka is one of the best technical wrestlers in Japan. But since he adopted this gimmick he never got a chance to show it. Seriously go watch some of his earlier work, especially his 2000-2001 run up until his injury, and you'll find a completely different wrestler from what you see nowadays. And if you want a specific match to watch: Iizuka & Nagata vs Toshiaki Kawada & Masanobu Fuchi from 14/12/2000. I would say that it is the defining Iizuka match (if nothing else because of all four involved Iizuka is the one people kept cheering on at the end).

One of Yano's partner will probably be Alberto El Patron since post WWE he's been showing up in every wrestling promotion. If not, it will be Muta and some of his Wrestle-1 folks namely KAI and Sanada.

Also Alberto is set to be at the ROH tapings the day before WK. Likely be some Legends such as Muta and Chono.

TNA still owes Muta for saving Bound For Glory this year. I want NJPW do something with Yano other than feuding with Suzuki-Gun. It's at Tommy Rich vs Buzz Sawyer levels.
