List of CMLL talent for the Fantasticamania shows: Mistico 2, Volador, Atlantis, Guerrero Maya Jr, Dragon Lee, Stuka Jr, Fuego, Mascara Dorada, Titan, Panther, Mephisto, Ultimo Guerrero, Hechicero, Bobby Z, Virus, Cavernario, and Okumura. But no Ingobernables. So bogus. Like the rumors are saying, La Sombra looks to be WWE bound hence him not on this or The G1 Tag. No Kamaitachi either, which is odd considering the rivalry between him and Dragon Lee.

No offense to Kevin and Matt, but I'll be sticking with the Japanese, even though I don't speak it.

Only halfway through the book but I heavily recommend the Lion's Pride book that has just come out. Cracking read about NJPW history and the assorted things i.e. young lions and what key venues they run.

I wish we could get a NJPW console game.
That's one of my top video game wants and if they could somehow get the former AKI team (very unlikely) to develop, would be orgasmic.
What do you guys think?

Here's the match listing for tomorrow's show from Korakuen airing on New Japan World
1) Mascara Dorada & David Finlay Jr. vs. Sho Tanaka & Yohei Komatsu
2) Juice Robinson & Tiger Mask IV vs. Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels
3) Captain New Japan, Ryusuke Taguchi & KUSHIDA vs. Gedo, Michael Bennett & Matt Taven
4) Jay White, Manabu Nakanishi, Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Cody Hall, Tama Tonga, Yujiro Takahashi, Bad Luck Fale & AJ Styles
5) (World Tag League 2015 A Block) Tomoaki Honma & Togi Makabe vs. Kazushi Sakuraba & Toru Yano
6) (World Tag League 2015 B Block) EVIL & Tetsuya Naito vs. Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson
7) (World Tag League 2015 B Block) Katsuyori Shibata & Hirooki Goto vs. Tomohiro Ishii & Shinsuke Nakamura
8) (World Tag League 2015 A Block) Michael Elgin & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI
I guess Bushi's injury is even more serious and severe than expected, I know he was originally planned to return back at the G1 Finals but suffered an eye fracture whilst training and Finlay is taking his place for tomorrow.

NJPW World Tag League 2015 Night One November 21st, 2015 | Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan
Earlier today, New Japan started their World Tag League Tournament. This tournament will go on for a few weeks and the winners get an IWGP Tag Team Title shot at Wrestle Kingdom 10. I was able to watch the entire show and I will try to watch the whole tournament but I can’t guarantee that I will have the time to do so. If I can’t, I will do my best to at least watch the tournament matches.
David Finlay and Mascara Dorada def. Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu in 5:36 Originally, this was planned to feature the return of BUSHI. For some reason, he didn’t make it here and was replaced by David Finlay. I was okay with this because Finlay is one of the Young Lions and they almost always deliver on these shows. Due to there not being two luchadores on the other side, Dorada kind of seemed like the odd man out. Still, these guys worked very well together and provided a fun short opener. Dorada won for his guys with the Dorada Screwdriver. I wish the other guys won though, since this was a last minute thrown together duo. **¾
The Addiction def. Juice Robinson and Tiger Mask IV in 7:41 Here we had the New Japan debut of the Addiction. Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian will be participating in the Tag League, but this was here to establish them as a heel team and give them a win. In that respect, it did the job it had to. Still, it was worst thing on the show. The Addiction did the little heel things you’d expect them to do to garner heat. Juice Robinson did his usual hot tag stuff, which I feel like I’ve seen a thousand times already, even though it’s only been a few times. He ate Celebrity Rehab to end this. *½
Gedo and the Kingdom w/ Maria Kanellis def. Captain New Japan, KUSHIDA and Ryusuke Taguchi in 8:58 Normally, I hate seeing Ryusuke Taguchi but that was offset by the sight of Maria. She’s pretty much perfect. Looking at this match, there were really only two people that I would say I like, which were KUSHIDA and Michael Bennett. The fact that KUSHIDA isn’t still the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion is a travesty. The dude is fantastic. Captain New Japan came out wearing Taguchi like glasses, which was pretty funny. The match itself was kind of just there. KUSHIDA was the only person on his team to not fall for the charms of Maria, with Captain New Japan even taking off his belt at the sight of her. This led to the Kingdom hitting the Hail Mary for the win. **
AJ Styles, Bad Luck Fale, Cody Hall, Tama Tonga and Yujiro Takahashi def. Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Jay White, Manabu Nakanishi, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata in 11:25 Outside of AJ Styles, this wasn’t exactly the best unit the Bullet Club could put forth. Well, I do enjoy Tama Tonga. Anyway, this was a pretty basic contest. It was cool to see Jay White team with the veterans of New Japan. There wasn’t much work from AJ Styles, leaving this to the lesser guy. There was a power battle between Bad Luck Fale and Manabu Nakanishi shortly before the finish. Yujiro Takahashi and his newly dyed hair picked up the win for his team in a match was kind of just there. *¾
World Tag League Block A Kazushi Sakuraba and Toru Yano (2) def. Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma (0) in 7:22 Coming into the World Tag League Tournament and knowing some of the card for Wrestle Kingdom, I’m expecting Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe to win the whole thing. This looked like it would be a win for them but that damn Toru Yano struck and changed those thoughts. There was some fun back and forth between Kazushi Sakuraba and Honma, where Sakuraba had an answer for everything Honma did. Yano being Yano, he rolled up Honma and stole two points. **½
World Tag League Block B EVIL and Tetsuya Naito (2) def. Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson (0) in 12:06 EVIL came out with his ridiculous grim reaper gear. Then, we thought Tetsuya Naito was out but the man removed his mask and turned out to be BUSHI, the newest member of Los Ingobernables. EVIL is also sporting a purple streak in his hair. This was a good old fashioned battle of two heel teams. It was cool to see both of them playing the role and trying to outdo each other. BUSHI was kind of just there at ringside for most of the match but got involved in the finish. He spit mist into Doc Gallows’ face, allowing Naito to nail Destino and pick up the win over the IWGP Tag Team Champions. After the match, Naito beat up the official because Los Ingobernables give zero f***s. Overall, this was a solid bout. ***
World Tag League Block B Meiyu Tag (Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata) (2) def. Shinsuke Nakamura and Tomohiro Ishii (0) in 12:48 I expect to see Shinsuke Nakamura and Tomohiro Ishii pick up a lot of wins during this tournament since they hold the Intercontinental and NEVER Titles. Meiyu Tag won the entire thing last year before winning the belts at Wrestle Kingdom 9. This was pretty great because every interaction delivered. Everyone had good chemistry with each other and there was never a dull moment. Katsuyori Shibata and Ishii have had some of my favorite matches in the last few years, while Ishii and Goto had a great match during the G1 this year. Nakamura has also had great matches with both opponents. There were a lot of good to great spots throughout this and everything done was hard hitting. Ishii hit Shibata with a sick headbutt for a close call before Shibata beat him with the PK. This was tremendous and one of the better tag matches I’ve seen all year. ****
World Tag League Block B Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin (2) def. Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI (0) in 17:10 After his performance during the G1 Climax, Michael Elgin is very over with the Japanese crowd, especially the fans in Korakuen Hall. He started with YOSHI-HASHI and had a fine exchange before tagging Hiroshi Tanahashi. Tanahashi put YOSHI in Kazuchika Okada’s corner and demanded Okada come in. That’s so great. It adds to their Wrestle Kingdom match and both men just tore into each other. I don’t know how the build was for some of their other matches, but if the WK10 match ends up being anything like the build, it should be much more physical and personal than the past ones. Okada is a smug dick throughout this, even smirking when Elgin attacks him. This was chaos throughout, pun intended, and Elgin press slammed Tanahashi into High Fly Flow out onto Okada. He then hit a buckle bomb and a spinning powerbomb on YOSHI-HASHI for the victory. ****
Overall: 7/10. As is the case with a fair amount of New Japan shows, the first half, outside of the Young Lions, left something to be desired. However, the actual Tag League matches were all pretty good to great. The final two are among the best tag matches I’ve seen all year long and show that there is some serious potential for greatness during this tournament. The main event also did a fantastic job in building towards Wrestle Kingdom 10, which is always appreciated.

Considering how he's embraced The Lucahdor culture, it shouldn't be surprising that Bushi has joined them when you think about it.

Well it looks like they are going the route for GBH that they did for Meiyu Tag last year, at least I hope they are.

NJPW World Tag League 2015 Nights Two and Three | Aichi, Japan and Mie, Japan
The entire second night is available but I have been very pressed for time and was only able to see the Tag League matches. For night three, the only matches available are the World Tag League ones, so there will be six matches reviewed here. Also, these shows were all single camera shows with no commentary, so they really had a house show feel.
Block A Manabu Nakanishi and Yuji Nagata [2] def. Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma [0] in 10:06 I still expect Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma to win this tournament, but they’re making it hard after two shows. Manabu Nakanishi really struggles when he has to move in the ring but he still can do well when he stands still and just hammers on his opponent. Honma and his headbutts are still absurdly over and it added to the overall feel of the match. The battle between Yuji Nagata and Honma was the highlight. Nagata put him down with a backdrop. This was a solid match but it was nothing special. **¾
Block B Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima [2] def. AJ Styles and Yujiro Takahashi [0] in 11:56 AJ Styles is the person that I honestly believe is the best wrestler in the world currently. Unfortunately, his partner is one of the worst singles wrestlers in New Japan in my eyes, Yujiro Takahashi. This match didn’t feature enough AJ Styles for my liking. Tenzan and Kojima have some of the best chemistry in New Japan since they’ve been together for so long. The best parts involved AJ and the finish came when Yujiro was in. He ate a lariat from Kojima that ended things. Decent at best. **½
Block A Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI [2] def. Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga [0] in 11:16 Man, the Bullet Club aren’t doing so hot in this are they? This was another pretty good match. I’ve gone on record to state that I’m impressed by Tama Tonga and I think pairing him with Bad Luck Fale allows for him to get more shine, since Fale doesn’t always do a ton. Kazuchika Okada is obviously great and his time in the ring is certainly fun. His back and forth with Tonga was cool and it’s a pairing that I would love to see more of in the future. Tonga has grown past his current role. Anyway, he got hit with the Rainmaker, giving Chaos a .500 record. **¾
Block B Los Ingobernables [4] def. The Kingdom [0] w/ Maria Kanellis in 9:53 This was the first World Tag League match of night three. It was interesting to see the Kingdom work as faces. They pretty much had to since Tetsuya Naito and EVIL did so well as the heels and, I mean, who really wants to boo Maria Kanellis? They also looked like the polar opposites of their opponents thanks to their incredibly bright attire. The MVP of this thing was Naito. He just absolutely nails this gimmick. Los Ingobernables held serve for the most part, until the Kingdom made their rally. It was a pretty decent rally considering they don’t usually do that part of the match. Maria got on the apron but instead of being smitten, EVIL just tried to attack her. Mist from BUSHI and Destino by Naito gave his guys the two points in an okay bout. **¼
Block A Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin [4] def. The Addiction [0] in 13:15 I felt like there was some potential in this match when I first looked at it. Unfortunately, something felt off about it. The Addiction have great chemistry and the tandem of Elgin and Tanahashi work exceptionally well together but this was still missing something. While the crowd isn’t into the Addiction yet, they love Tanahashi and Elgin so they were loud for the match. Granted, I’m not saying this was bad, because it absolutely wasn’t. It was just solid, which is fine, but I wanted more. After Tanahashi got rod if Daniels, that left Kazarian as easy pickings for an Elgin powerbomb. **¾
Block B Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata [4] def. Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson [0] in 14:43 These teams met in the Tag League last year, at Wrestle Kingdom to start the year and at New Beginnings. They traded the belts during that time. Due to all of those past outings, these are four men who know how to work with each other. While the last match maybe lacked some chemistry and communication, that wasn’t the case here. I genuinely enjoy Gallows and Anderson and have grown to love Meiyu Tag. They played off some old matches and threw in some brawling to give it a different feel. Still, I don’t think this quite reached the level they are capable of. It was the best match of the two nights though. Shibata hit Gallows with the PK to make the champions 0-2. ***
Overall: 5/10. Not a bad six matches by any means but nothing that would kick yourself over if you missed. A very average series of matches and, while not must-see, there are certainly worse wrestling to watch for a little over an hour.

NJPW World Tag League 2015 Day 1 ReviewA Block MatchesToru Yano and Kazushi Sakuraba vs GBH (Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe) (**1/2) Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin vs Kazuchika Okada and YOSHI-HASHI (***3/4) B Block MatchesLos Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito and EVIL) vs Bullet Club (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) (**1/2) Meiyu Tag (Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata) vs CHAOS (Shinsuke Nakamura and Tomohiro Ishii) (****) OverallThis show was solid. I decided to only focus on the actual tag league matches here but the rest of the matches ranged from meh to good. The best match on the show in my view was CHAOS vs Meiyu Tag, followed closely by Tanahashi and Elgin vs CHAOS. I'm hoping Shibata and Goto win but I'll be happy with GBH too. It's worth noting that during Los Ingobernables' entrance, everyone thought that Tetsuya Naito came to the ring, but he removed his mask and was actually revealed to be BUSHI, who has aligned himself with the group. Overall, this was a pretty good show. Elgin and Tanahashi are a really good team. ***3/4 altogether
