I don't read comics, though, I thoroughly enjoy comic book movies, so this doesn't mean much to me, but, perhaps, it will mean something to those who do follow the comics. I read yesterday the suggestion that... {Spoiler}Skye could be revealed as Daisy Johnson and her dad is Mr. Hyde/Calvin Zabo. 1. Would this make sense? 2. Is that a good thing?

I would definitely like that. Don't see why that's spoilered though.

That would make absolutely perfect sense now we've seen her dad is a doctor.
It would mean Skye will eventually get super powers though

I kinda of think she is Inhuman. And maybe the obelisk is related to Terrigen mists.

Since the Kree body was present back when the Obelisk was originally taken from Whitehall, who's to say he didn't use the alien DNA to experiment on humans which led to this tribe of monsters that Skye was taken from? Mr. Hyde could have been one of these original monsters which of course leads to Skye being Quake.
That answers how Hyde would have known who Whitehall was when Raina talked about him. Now that they're in cahoots and have the Obelisk...who's to say the plan to weaponize it doesn't backfire and they accidentally don't realease a certain Mist upon the world?

Just watched yesterday's episode. Ward has escaped FBI custody. I'm excited to see where he goes from here. I'm gonna miss Bobbi's ex-husband, though. I liked him.

Coulson and everyone else set Ward up. They wanted him to escape so they could follow him to HYDRA headquarters and to Skye's dad. They're not going to put him in those simple restraints unless they want him to get free. They're not stupid, for years HYDRA grew in SHIELD and took it over, now SHIELD is flipping it on HYDRA.

I don't know, Ward's loyalty to HYDRA was pretty nominal, and now that the person who made him loyal is dead, it would be more to get him back to fighting shape so he can come back to kill them.

Oh yeah, on a shallow note a Star Wars shirt has never looked better, than it did on her at the beginning of the episode.

Because DC and Warner Brothers are so inept at this thing that it boggles the mind. Nothing but constant excuses over WW even though she already had an iconic run by Lynda Carter. I don't get how Marvel flat out gives DC a damn blueprint on how to get from Superman to Justice League and they still manage to do it assbackwards. Man of Steel Green Lantern or Aquaman (movie with a non big three member) Man of Steel 2 Batman (with credits scene with Bruce discussing the events of MoS movies) Wonder Woman Justice League Introduce lesser members in the big boys movies like Black Widow/Hawkeye were. How damn hard is this?

Actually, on that note, I'm thinking Ward's going to DC to finally kill his brother.

{Spoiler}The main thug tonight is Whiplash. I'd expect him to return. Really enjoying the show at this point. Glad to see them continuing to find ways to be interesting. The morphing into more of a spy show than a cop show is a welcome change.

Did you see the terrible pilot they put out? That's how. edit: as for the Wards... I have a feeling Coulson was/is playing the both of them.

Now the show has found its feet I think it's got the potential to have Stargate-style longevity. There's already an interesting mix of lead and support characters and decades of material from the comics that will never get used in the Marvel movies.
