{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Probably not any of the "big name" Inhumans (Black Bolt, Medusa, etc.), since they likely want to save them for the 2018 movie. {Spoiler}I was thinking maybe they secretly cast one of the big names to make their debut to get the hype train going ahead of time. If Skye's dad is Maximus and not Mr. Hyde, I just don't see Black Bolt sitting on his duff while Shield deals with him. He'd be too important to the Inhumans movie to kill off now too.

Nice to see some backstory on Whitehall in this weeks episode. Hate we have to wait two weeks to see the next one, but it looks to be worth the wait. {Spoiler}Certainly didn't expect them to find the city this fast. With the references to "blue angels from the sky" and "a chosen few", all signs seem to point towards the Inhumans. I just don't see why they would introduce the Inhumans 3 years before the movie comes out.

Presumably S.H.I.E.L.D. won't play a significant role in any of the movies going forward, so introducing Inhumans now sets up for the movie and keeps the show relevant to the movies as a whole, assuming it's still on the air in three years time (if not on ABC, I think Netflix would pick it up).

Add "ass-kicker" to Skye's ever-expanding résumé.

Mid-season finale in less than half an hour, and by all accounts, it will be one to remember.

Agents of SHIELD ended the mid-season with a bang. Lots of story, reveals, development and action. Also some great fan service. Add 3 of the best villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Whitehall, Daddy Dearest, and Ward, not to mention Half Face Mae, who is rad), and this episode was a thrill ride. Awesome, awesome stuff. A mid-season finale that felt like a season finale or even a middle chapter in a movie trilogy. March is a long ways off. Bring on Agent Carter! {Spoiler}Skye is Daisy! Knew it. Also, is Faceless Mae Madam Mask?.

T(RIP)P. At first I was like: Now I'm like: Hell of a damn show. I honestly think Agents of SHIELD has become my favourite thing in the MCU.

You go to Hell Ward, you go to Hell and you die 84 times. Not only did Ward break Fitz, since he was working with Whitehall he's part of the reason Tripp is dead.
The scene of Skye breaking out of the stuff, was fantastic. It was shot perfectly, the music fit greatly, and her breaking out felt like a birth of a superhero moment.

{Spoiler}I will say it was fun when Skye shot that bastard Ward many times, then just said, "Never turn your back on your enemy. You taught me that."

Having a thought: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Daisy/Quake is an Avenger in the comics, yes? Given that the Twins are likely going to be retconned as Inhumans, and Jed Whedon's tie-in confirmation, what chances of Skye getting a small appearance or reference in Age of Ultron at some point?

I don't read comics, though, I thoroughly enjoy comic book movies, so this doesn't mean much to me, but, perhaps, it will mean something to those who do follow the comics. I read yesterday the suggestion that... Skye could be revealed as Daisy Johnson and her dad is Mr. Hyde/Calvin Zabo. I kinda of think she is Inhuman. And maybe the obelisk is related to Terrigen mists. You called it. Both of you.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. 3 months is gonna be a long time. On the one hand, I'd love Tripp to come back somehow, but at the same time, I don't want them to cheapen death in the Cinematic Universe.

After being so good about being respectful to their characters, this guy is actually Lockjaw.
