Mistakes were made? Blame a bad family life? Oh just f*** off Ward.
I want to see May beat the living shit out of him, and he also runs afoul of Frank Castle.

I haven't been in the thread because I keep being a few days to a week behind since we got back from break. I love how far this show has come. And even if it gets cheap looking or cornball sometimes, the characters really save it. At this point I like everyone but Gemma, and that is because she has become an evil little shit and is doing it well. Leo however has become my favorite. He is a little spitfire. The most fun to watch is Cal though, my god that is a brilliant portrayal.
It amaze me how to me this and Arrow have switched places in my mind.
I like where they are going with Ward. He realized what he lost, a family, the same thing he once took from himself. He wants that back as a selfish thing and he thinks he can be redeemed. I even want to see him try for redemption by doing the right things, but everyone, especially him (as evidence by his own insight into himself) know he cannot be redeemed. He is a great way for the Thunderbolts to start.
A few pages back it was asked how Skye's mom was about, well, we know that Cal stitched her up at this point. Also, never have I seen a woman whose face was so scared being so damned breathtaking.

Ward tried to murder her and Fitz, he gave Fitz brain damage, and he's always going to be obsessed with Skye so she's afraid for her friend. It's understandable that after everything that Ward has done, she'd want to kill him. Her actions earlier about the Inhumans, were done when she clearly wasn't thinking straight. She was saying that they all need to be eradicated because of Trip. She was close to Trip, and he died because of the power giving, so it's understandable she'd be pissed about that. She was still grieving at that point and had a whole lot of anger. She's had time to grieve and is back to her old self. Fitz, yeah Fitz has been freaking awesome this season.

I think a lot of how I feel has to do with the fact that last season her and Fitz's relationship at times was far and away the best thing on the show, and thus she was too. Watching her go through so much and break sucked. Especially when all things considered the rest of the crew held up pretty well. So watching that character basically have to become so dark to survive sucked. Which means it was effective storytelling. Doesn't mean I had to like her during that time. I didn't want that from that character. On a different topic, the action scene with Skye was sick. On long single camera tracking shot of her kicking major ass.

He is a great way for the Thunderbolts to start. That's what I love about Grant Ward. He's good only in the sense that he is evil, but he understands that he's evil, that he can't be redeemed, and simply plays the hand he's dealt. I kind of see shades of Cole from Charmed in that he accepts he's the bad guy and that will never change, no matter how hard he tries. And we all know what happened whenever Cole tried to fight fate. I think he's easily one of the most intriguing characters on the show (still not the best character, though, that still belongs to Melinda May). Still patiently waiting on that FitzMack reunion tho. EDIT: I think Ward is pretty much over Skye. He pretty much said that ship sailed when she shot him in Puerto Rico.

Oddly enough, the same guy directed the two episodes that featured the battle of the Mays and Skye kicking ass, as well as the one when Cal brought in those powered people to fight SHIELD.

Up yours Gonzalez. Let's see YOU get to make the call to call a certain super group in.

Hopefully we find out what is in the cargo hold of Gonzalez's ship this season. And who the enhanced Weaver fought the day SHIELD fell was. I'm curious if it's an enhanced that's already a known Marvel character.

That reunion of the original Shield team was a pretty cool moment. Still don't know what to make of Ward. He's like the Local Man of the Marvel Universe.

So I'm going to assume that the base for powered people that Coulson was building is actually the {Spoiler}Avengers facility that Fury's in charge of at the end of Age of Ultron.

Ward - "Somebody mention my name?" Skye - "He's like Candyman" Ward is such an asshole One of my favourite moments in this episode was Fitz telling Gemma about how he attacked Ward on the plane.

So just finished the episode, awesome stuff. Only thing that mildly irked me was Bakshi's death. The guy had survived so many sure death moments in this season (including swallowing a cyanide capsule) that I thought for sure he was immortal. I would've loved to have seen him become a semi-recurring character who just shows up once or twice a season and somehow implausibly managers to survive another sure-death scenario.
Coulson: "But we threw you into the Sun!" Bakshi: "Yes, funny thing about that..."

I'm probably not going to see Ultron until later this week and I DVR Agents cause I'm usually out when it airs live.
Can someone give me a heads up if next weeks episode contains spoilers for Age of Ultron?
Thanks.
