Really enjoyed it. Good opening episode. Just wish we could get some cameos from the likes of Thor or Cap America ect.

So far, seems like the Torchwood to Marvel's Doctor Who... Just with less LGBT people. Interesting setup, and some interesting ideas that could be fun to see develop, but I do hope the characters will gain some depth in future episodes, because everyone in this one felt a little flat.

I enjoyed the pilot a lot, sure there were the usual "cop show cliches" (The loose cannon, the pacifist, the brains etc...) but the Marvel movie universe spin on said cliches made them more palatable, and the character interaction was fun and flighty. (Much like the Avengers movie also did under similar circumstances.)

To combat the idea that Colson is a LMD, one needs to remember that one of the Marvel One-shots (A Funny Thing happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer) showed that he was pretty Neo-like before Loki shish-kabobbed him.

I liked it...I see what they are trying to do and to be fair it is only the first episode. I was entertained, and the writing (although not ambiguous in any shape or form to trying to be relevant to kids and young teens with "facebook" references etc etc) was good. They are trying to net in a lot of demographics here and I hope they succeed. I shall be tuning in next week to watch. Agent Coulson is still awesome Chloe Bennett is stunning and beautiful! I have already added her to my future wives list....my god, she owned the camera whenever she was on it. I like her charatcer and her spunk, and she certainly brought a lot of energy to it. Yeah...I want to see a lot more of her, no matter how long this will go on for (I hope it at least get's a few seasons, but as I said earlier too early to tell). I liked the team and the different/clash of personalities. I love the token nerd characters, I don't know why but they had good chemistry and seemed to enjoy playing it. The driver chick was decent but didn't get much time to show off except for the little fight scene that I enjoyed. Serious dude is serious, we will see where it goes with him. I will need to learn the other names except Skye now that i am invested.

I wasn't blown away by the pilot
- a smart but annoying girl who tries to be funny in every freaking frame - a pair of quirky foreigners scientists - an agent who doesn't want to go back in the field but is forced to - an new guy who is a hot-head but he is extremely talented
it all seemed pretty cliched :/
I liked : Phil Coulson I disliked : Skye, Ward, Fitz & the British chick I don't know if i like them or not : Melinda May

The pilot was crap. It was like a really, really bad 90's action show but without any of the redeeming features. Seriously, Martial Law was a far better show than this (Then again, that was a really good show in its own right). The characters were the worst part of it all, the female hacker being a terrible one in particular, the rest being bland or cliched. Maybe it'll improve but I doubt I'll stick around to find out.

Pretty good pilot. Not mind-blowing, but it delivers. It was amusing to see the return of "Grr, argh!"

Or perhaps he's been an LMD the entire time. That would make sense. Coulson was an actual living person at some point but died a long time ago before most of the movies. The Coulson we've seen since the beginning has been the LMD based off the late Coulson for some reason. Hmmmmmm...

I lost interest in the second half of the episode but will probably still continue watching when I can. My take on the Coulson thing was that he is still the same person and did in fact die. He was dead as dead can be. what Coulson thinks was a 3 week trip to Tahiti was actually him in heaven and he was somehow brought back to life via some newfound "alien" technology.

It seemed pretty dated to me. Felt like a show from the 90s. The main guy might as well be called Jack Bland.
That said, I quite enjoyed it. Coulson carried the episode for me. Will be interesting to see if the supporting characters are strong enough to carry a Couson-less show at some point.

I can't get beyond how the tech girl (not Skye) looks exactly like Danielle Panabaker.
