It's an inhuman named Lash apparently. Though I thought it was Blackheart (Mephisto?) from the Marvel vs Capcom game I used to play in bowling alleys when I was a kid though lol. For reference;

Is there any reason why reviewers are so hard on this show? It just seems like to me that sites like av club and hitflix hold it to a higher standard than they do with the CW shows.

For reference; Did Marvel get the Ghost Rider rights back? Nic Cage already kicked Blackheart's monkey emo looking ass in the first movie.

I can't enjoy this video for the simple fact these phone conversations between Quesada and Loeb actually do happen and routinely do a lot of real damage.

Hate to be a buzzkill but I can't believe the team found Simmons that easily. I'm thinking there's a twist coming.

Hate to be a buzzkill but I can't believe the team found Simmons that easily. I'm thinking there's a twist coming. It felt like they just wanted to be done with that storyline as soon as possible. Honestly, if they stretched it out for a few more episodes, they could have put more focus on Ward/HYDRA and May.

I think the former will take center stage a bit later with the second half, and the former will be focused on in the next few episodes.

Is there any reason why reviewers are so hard on this show? It just seems like to me that sites like av club and hitflix hold it to a higher standard than they do with the CW shows. I think it is a mix of not letting the first 6 episodes go, and expecting something from Marvel that really cannot be delivered on ABC.

The first half of season one really dragged things down, but since then it's been a solid B/B+ show.

I'm still standing by my theory that Simmons is a Space Phantom. The real Simmons is partying on the Milano with Rocket and Groot taking the slow way back to Earth.
