From Wikipedia: The wrestler puts his opponent in a half nelson with one arm and grabs the opponent's neck with the other. This hold is very similar to the judo choke hold known as a katahajime. This choke was popularized in professional wrestling by Taz as his finisher the Tazmission. The only difference is that guys actually sold it in ECW. I think there's a version of the Tazmission that is legitimately dangerous and can put someone out in a few seconds flat. And then there's the 'safe' one, which looks similar but won't put them to sleep. Much like there's ways of putting on the Cobra Clutch. I was just curious what the difference was. I remember reading a story, and I don't know if it's kayfaybed or nor, about Taz putting Paul E. in the Kata Hajime to demonstrate it when he wanted to use it as his finisher, and legit choking Paul out into unconsciousness. Needless to say, Paul approved of the idea.

Needless to say, Paul approved of the idea. Once they revived him.

Taz had a better personality than Joe.

One good thing about WWE Tazz: his entrance music. I'm listening to it right now and it's MELTING MY FREAKING FACE OFF.

Taz was one of the guys who helped the smaller guys get over.
I feel that Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio and Taz were so important when it came to the influx of smaller guys, and opportunities for smaller guys to be great characters, great wrestlers, flamboyant personalities, and even bad asses.

Taz is my favourite wrestler ever, I hope one day wwe make a dvd dedicated to the hard work he did for ECW. I wish i still had the gifs I made for someone of Taz. This is something I drew about 3 months ago its the first time in years I did a bit of wrestling fan art.

I miss the old Taz. Definitely one of my favorite characters/wrestlers of all-time.

When I found out Taz had been included as a legend in WWESVR07, I creamed my pants.
Taz rules. Probably my favorite of all the "badass" characters.
