He is. His slaves weren't keeping him company anymore, and he got homesick because of that. Homesicking is really hurtful, you know.

Doctor-"Jesus, you again?!" Christian- "It's just a minor injury, I swear. I just need one more patch!"

This question needs one of those websites with a giant YES in the middle of it. It can actually be "Are Christian, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, and Sin Cara injured?" Fixed.

I'm hoping since the Shield "took him out" he'll come back and get a shot at Dean Ambrose. If given the chance, Christian has always been a great champion. While I'd prefer he went for a Main Event title, I guess it would be nice to see him get a run with a title he's never had.

The strange situation with Christian, is that it's always a different part of his body that gets hurt. With Orton it's usually his shoulder, and Mysterio constantly has knee problems. But Christian seems to get up getting a completely different injury every time he returns.

I thought being hurt was his gimmick.

I thought being hurt was his gimmick. Yeah it worked so well for him from 1998-2004.

Christian, Sin Cara, Rey, Mark Henry and Evan Bourne should form a team for Survivor Series "No Show". They would loose by forfeit to the team of 3mb, JTG and Yoshi Tatsu.

I thought being hurt was his gimmick. Yeah it worked so well for him from 1998-2004. Yea I know it's easy to think that Christian is so injury prone now, but you have to remember he was amazing healthy for that long period of time. Other then a freak injury in a steel cage match with Y2J, this dude was durable. Now it's just all those bumps in the past catching up to him. It's a shame but it happens in this business when you grow old.

Kinda sad, in 2005 he was without a doubt my favorite.
When he first returned in 2009, I thought he was going to be a star after the ECW Title reign.
Then the pec injury came...and the ankle injury...and the Punk beating before WM28...then Creative not having anything for him to do for 10 months despite being healed from his shoulder injury for 6 of those months...and now he's just hurt like he is every other month and I just gave up on him. Guy should've retired following his SummerSlam match with how good the video they made him was.

It really is baffling to think the man was pretty much never injured for all of his first WWF/E run, his TNA run, and for a decent chunk of change into his second WWE run. Especially when you look at his old partner, Mr. Glass himself, Edge.
It's like when Edge retired it somehow transferred over onto Christian.
Between the depressing state of affairs that was the Orton program with him and this string of injuries, I'm almost hoping he'll hang it up. It's clear the WWE don't intend to use him as he should be, and that window of opportunity is rapidly closing on him due to age now. And, I don't want him to become like somebody like Rey Mysterio, who I used to love but now find depressing to see every time he gets wheeled out.

If he is still hurt, his body is clearly starting to turn on him in terms of both frequency of injuries and longer recovery times.
Time to retire.
Retire and go away. Or go back to TNA. Same thing really.
