I feel like this trailer gives away the whole movie. What I predict will happen: {Spoiler}{Speculations (spoilers):} Robert Redford's character is probably the main bad guy in the movie as he does some double-dealings with a shady organization (AIM perhaps) in order to scare the government into accepting his proposed weapons project with the Winter Soldier (a former Soviet asset now likely as super secret special black ops agent) as the agent provocateur of these terrorist attacks. Captain America will learn the truth and somehow convince the Winter Soldier to switch sides as both of them attempt to take down a corrupted SHIELD with some inside help from Nick Fury, the Black Widow, and the Falcon. SHIELD is defeated and rebuilds with Nick Fury as the lead. Fury shows Captain America one of the weapons projects that the new SHIELD was able to save from the old SHIELD that Fury hopes Tony Stark will be able to fix and make operational: an autonomous robot soldier project called ULTRON.

Honestly I didn't know Falcon was in this film at all, so seeing him fold out his wings in the trailer was a legit treat for me.

Much like I said with Agrnts of Shield: keep your eyes peeled for any references to the creation of Ultron

This is still awesome after watching it a few dozen times now but it sucks that this is only movie in phase 2 so far that actually looks like a direct contiuation from the avengers.
Everyone kept asking in IronMan 3 where are the rest of the avengers or even shield and seems this movie will not make that mistake.

Uber...badassery. Can't wait! That second gif is just beautiful for how it shows you Winter Soldier's face but thanks to being slightly blurred you can't clearly make it out. Nice way to keep those who don't know a thing about the character guessing.

What is it with the second film in a Marvel series having a scene in a trailer where the hero talks to a redhead before jumping from the plane with no parachute?

It looks really amazing as the scope seems to be much bigger and putting a lot of emphasis on Nick Fury's questionable methods regarding the usage of intimidation and control. My only gripe and it's really not a gripe per se, however, I just hope the after credits scene more or less is actually a preview of what's to come in Age of Ultron. I'm thinking we get two credits scenes (like how Thor 2 is rumoured to have two stingers). One that sets up Age of Ultron, and another comedic stinger, like in the vein of Iron Man 3.

What is it with the second film in a Marvel series having a scene in a trailer where the hero talks to a redhead before jumping from the plane with no parachute? If Ed Norton hadn't rewritten INCREDIBLE HULK to stand-alone, it would've been a sequel to Ang Lee's HULK. And there's a scene in INCREDIBLE HULK where Banner intentionally falls out of a plane with no parachute. Though Liv Tyler is not a redhead.

Flaming Ultimate Universe. I hope Galactus eats the lot! I'm pretty sure that's exactly what's going to happen. Marvel hijacked Jackson Fury for 616 and pretty much everything else about it that was marketable was thrown out the window after Ultimatum. killing off Peter Parker was pretty much the *throw your hands up and say "f*** it"* moment for the imprint.

I still have high hopes for the film, but the trailer didn't do anything for me. It just looked like a collection of cool footage without much semblance of what the story's really going to be. The last time I felt like that about a trailer was for "Star Trek" Into Darkness, and I didn't care for that film, so it's a slight worry. I think it's just the way trailers are cut these days. Like I said, still looking forward to the film, everything else I've seen or heard about it seems positive. man that looks great. forgot Falcon was going to be in it.
