I would like to say that all of those people who are okay that this Impact had a 31 minute opening segment will complain when WWE has a 20 minute opening segment.
I don't care if it is after Bound For Glory, TNA's production team needs to understand the idea of timing things out better. Because the production team seems to have not learned anything from the mess that was 2010.

I get this vibe like Dixie Carter is the crazy mom and iMPACT is her dysfunctional family. AJ, the former good son, has become rebellious and defiant to Mommy Dearest.

It did 1,258,000 viewers this week.Last week was 1,100,000 viewers. So dieing=ratings? The annual BFG ratings bump. Happens every year.

Also, unlike when they were in the Impact Zone, the live audience PAID MONEY TO ATTEND A WRESTLING SHOW. Instead, they had to sit through half an hour of Deluded Dixie and her (non) Heel Heat. Someone desperately needs to explain to her the difference between getting booed and getting legitimate heel response.

Every year, TNA gets a ratings bump on the post BFG show.
And ever year, they make sure it doesn't stick around by putting their first match at the 40 minute mark. Unreal.

All I know is that it doesn't matter if it's 20 or 31 minutes, that's way too f***ing promo time to start off a wrestling show.

I've seen this happen with people outside the FAN forum like You Tube reviewer FoolKilla, but as far as other names go......the list is just too many to count where I have seen that. I think I may have generalized everyone into this camp, but I have seen a lot of TNA defenders do this. Heck, on twitter I got someone saying this was a post-BFG show and we should give TNA a break for the 31 minute opening segment. No, not even in WWE after WrestleMania is a long ass opening segment acceptable. In the middle, maybe we can do this......but do not start off the show with this crap.

People are out of their minds if they think WWE never has a long winded promo open. You guys are going to pretend we never have seen Triple H start the show with one of his 'amazing' promos?
I'm not giving TNA a pass. I think it's bullshit but let's not act like WWE isn't down with the same shit.

I don't think anyone is saying WWE hasn't done it, and people criticize WWE for promos that are half the length of Thursdays promo. HH is still rounded criticized for his longwinded promos. heck, it's something that bring all people together in agreement. I think one reason people are harder on this promo is because of the individuals doing the most talking, AJ and specifically Dixie, Mr. Anderson's shtick, the fact that there were 2 commercial log breaks, and the fact that this was how they opened Impact after a below average BFG.
