It was called Mr. Gameshow and to this day I'm still pissed and hate Santa Clause. Hey I had that... it wasn't very good from what I remember but it had a little animatronic guy on it! But yeah any of the really BIG things... GI Joe carrier, Fortress Maximus...

A GT SnoRacer. Every year, my parents said that a Krazy Karpet was pretty much the same thing.

My cousin had the USS Flagg, so I was fine. Weirdly enough, I wanted this little wind-up helicopter backpack thing that was sold seperately as an accessory. Also, The Slime Pit......which I actually did get for a bday gift once but my mom had returned to the store because she didn't want to deal with the slime gunk.

The T-Rex from Dino Riders. One year, I wanted that for christmas and Mum put it on layby, but told me a week before christmas that we couldn't afford it. I had the choice of The Triceratops or Optimus Prime. I picked Optimus. And yes he was just as awesome as everyone thinks he was. Looked great in truck and robot mode and other transformers fit in his trailer! But I always wanted Soundwave and Omega Supreme. Soundwave was sooo cool!

Jesus christ, so many. We didn't really do Christmas as a kid.

It's the stuff now that I wish I didn't get rid of, that I envy the most.
Of course, I can't really answer this very well since if there was a toy I wanted and didn't get as a kid, I picked it up several years later when Ebay was first starting out.
So while I was able to pick up the Food Fighters (the 9 of 10 I didn't have) and the Lego Ice Planet Deep Freeze Defender, I regret throwing out a pink and yellow glow ball I got with 4 proofs of purchase from Kelloggs cereal when I was 8 or 9.
However, this is one thing I wanted...and something I will never get. When I lived in Oklahoma City growing up, we used to pass by this mom and pop store that had a (paper mache?) clown sitting in the window. I was 5 at the time, and for some reason really really wanted that clown. Of course, I would assume it's definitely gone now, and even if I went back, I'd probably not know where to look.

Two things that stick out in my mind:
1.) I wanted a BattleTroll. Basically a buffed up troll doll with weapon accessories. Don't know why I never got it.
2.) At one point I wanted a Silverhawks action figure. No one would buy it for me because my older brother already had all of them. My protests that he wouldn't let me play with them or "those are HIS, I want one that would be MINE" fell on deaf ears.

There was an Optimus Prime toy from the Armada series that could combine with its trailer to form a huge robot and I remember being deeply disappointed I didn't get it for Christmas that year. I understand why and all, but still.

Krang was/is my favorite TMNT character, but getting this never happened for me.

I always wanted that old Inspector Gadget action figure when I was little. My parents actually did try to get it for me, they just couldn't find it anywhere -

A paintball gun.
My mom always said they were too dangerous.

I had like 3 random Ewok action figures and really wanted this to go with them:

I always wanted, but could never find Bret Hart's second Hasbro figure with Silver Shades or Hasbro's Owen Hart figure. It seemed like most of the stores near me only had the most common of Hasbro WWF figures, with the black & silver HBK and purple Razor Ramon being the only exceptions. As far as bigger things that I never got, the one thing that comes to mind is the TMNT Sewer playset: I had the Technodrome though (yeah, that's me as a kid...).

Stretch Armstrong
I wanted one all through my childhood. No idea why I never got one either since it's not like they were expensive.
For Christmas a few years ago though, my mum did finally buy me one as a joke present after I mentioned it was what I always wanted as a kid. It broke within 30 minutes after we stretched it too far across the room.
