I'd do just to say that I did, but what package do you absolutely have to have in 30 minutes!? I'd assume that you have to live in close proximity to an Amazon warehouse/facility as well. I think you can get epipens on Amazon, so I'll say that. I forsee a lot of things being dropped on roof tops with this.

If this catches on, I wonder if it will make flying less safe, what with the increased air traffic and the stress it puts on air traffic controllers.

If the drones fly low enough, they wont interfere with anything to do with air traffic control, but i suspect the service wouldn't be avaliable right next to airports.
This is just an amazing idea though, even though it means even more job loss, for both delivery people and people in real shops. A step closer to everyone just working in a giant Amazon warehouse!

Sounds interesting but I doubt it already works as smoothly as depicted in this video. I mean, the thing landed right in the middle of the garden, right in front of the bloody porch! I'm also a bit concerned about the number of delivery men who may lose their job. I doubt it'd affect that many jobs. There'll probably be fairly strict limits on what these drones could safely carry, and free ground shipping would still be enticing to a lot of people.

Packages are neat, but think of all the innovations this'll have on the pizza industry.

Not to mention that there are still items you wouldn't want to use this on (ie: anything fragile) and they'll still need people to fly the drones.

Over and under how much the shipping cost will be?
Still really cool, I'd guess you choose where in particular you would want it to land (like a specific point on Google maps). But I wonder what would happen if that drone were to crash/be shot down/stolen/break?

I would image they are remote piloted with cameras so the pilot can just look for a door and a safe landing zone by it.
