Looking on the history of the board and shocked to discover that no thread exists for what is with out a doubt one of the best shows on TV right now.
Lets see what has happened only half way through this season so far. Super soldiers, Barry Allen, Solomon Grundy, Malcolm is back, Black Canary, Ras Al Ghul, League of Assassins, Professor Zoom and so much more. Like I said this only HALF this season. We are even getting hints about The Question, Batman, Nightwing and some other stuff that I can't remember.
So I ask, why does Agents of SHIELD have a thread and this show doesn't.

I think there was a thread, I can't find it now. Not really looking that hard either.
I'm loving Arrow. Awesome show. Why Agents of SHIELD has a thread? Avoids the CW everyone beautiful syndrome, seems less 'dark and gritty', is on a bigger network, and Agent Coulson. Plus the movie. It's just bigger. Not better but bigger.
A couple questions though because my comic book knowledge is limited at best. What are the hints for Grundy, Question, Batman and Nightwing? I haven't picked up on any of that.

I can understand the CW hate, but so far this season this show has really stopped doing it as much and the worst part about it (Laurel) hasn't really been there lately and Thea has been alot better and with certain revelations could get even better. I know this show has about a season and a half on AoS, but it is so much better. I watch AoS and it is okay then the next night Arrow is on and it blows it out of the water. Now about your other thing, recently the producers came out with a list of hints about what is to come this season and beyond. One of the first hints was "Born on a Monday" which is of course a nod to Grundy, also Brother Blood is testing a super soldier serum called Miraculu, (Hourman), and the first person to survive it in Starling is named Cyrus Gold, the original name of Grundy. The rest were hinted on the list by saying "Arrow isn't the first vigilante" plus the rumors and producers wanting to do a Nightwing team up. For Question they also want him on the show plus two hints about asking the right question and a blank expression was brought up.

Okay guys tonight is the mid season finale and apparently some one isn't going to make it tonight. Plus Ollie is visited by three ghosts and made to face the problems of his past.

Amazing show. I don't like to compare shows, but this does "comic book show" so well while SHIELD fails miserably.
Cannot wait until tonight's episode! Who would ever imagine that a TV show that involves Green Arrow fighting Solomon Grundy and Brother Blood would be so good and get so many viewers?
Plus, will Barry Allen become the Flash tonight?

I think that he is either going to get his powers from the particle accelerator that they have been hinting at or is being used to introduce super powers in general.

Okay its over now, so how about that big bad. You knew it was coming, and he's building an army. Team Arrow is going to need a squad to help them. Please don't let this be like in Smallville where the writers set up Lex building an army of Krypto-Freaks going against the Justice League and then proceeded to not do that. Arrow has started setting up the Suicide Squad, we've seen Waller, Deadshot, and Bronze Tiger. They could say that Waller brought Count Vertigo back to life. Let it happen Team Arrow and The Suicide Squad against the big bad and his army. And GhostTommy needs to be a regular.

Ok, that was f***ing awesome. Seeing Slade with streaks of grey and wearing the eye patch was great and I did not expect Shado to die so soon. Loved everything about this episode from Solomon Grundy to Ollie getting his mask and of course the origin of The Flash.
Speaking of Flash, I liked Grant Gustin's portrayal of Barry Allen a lot more than I thought I would and I'm now really excited to see the spin-off.
Anyway, part 2 of season 2 starts in January so I can't wait for this show to return.

As a comic fan,I've been wondering about this show, but never gave it a shot due to it being on the CW(Never saw Smallville either).Wanna start the first season on Netflix soon, but I gotta ask,how CW is it?Is it 'Dawson's Creek' with Solomon Grundy in it?

To answer your question Alfredo, not really. It has it's moments of girly (not the right word I know) drama, but the show has a Dark Knight tone to it. I know little about the comic book, but I think they are doing a good job. The first season has its faults, but overall it was good. And the second season is building well off of that.

Holy crap that was awesome. The Slade reveal (both of them) were amazing, the episode had a tone of different plot points without feeling bloated (although the Flash origin was a little rushed) and the three ghosts of Christmas managed to be the right balance between cheesy and affecting.
Season 2 has so far blown the very good season 1 out of the water. It feels like an actual comic book series that exists within an actual comic book world. And that hasn't been since since the Timmverse.
But yeah, mindblowing episode, absolutely salivated for the rest of the season.

I love this show so much. The fact that they can get wilder and wilder with what they use, but have still managed to ground it all as making sense in the show is amazing.

Be warned though the first half of season one is a bit slow and you will have to get past a bad Huntress two parter, but once you get to the mid season finale when the big bad is revealed it gets better and then towards the end of the season it picks up and never stops running.

So I started watching the first season this week and I'm at episode 17(due to being sick the last few days)..guess I dig it.I really am pleasantly surprised. It's got a good balance of everything, not as "CW" as I assumed it would be.The shitty part is going to be catching up on Season 2 on my phone(damn you Verizon FIOS,for not having a CW On Demand option).

Ok that was a great episode. Seeing Slade in full on Deathstroke gear was awesome. Roy was also great and I can't wait to see him and Oliver start training together.
