The Nexus vs. The Undertaker. Remember when the Nexus attacked the Undertaker on RAW? Then, they helped Kane bury him at Bragging Rights. You'd think that Taker would get his revenge on the Nexus, right? Nope. They completely dropped the whole thing when the Deadman came back in February 2011. Kane never got revenge on Mark Henry or The Wyatt Family for taking him out. The Brothers of Destruction either have short term memory loss or are a lot more forgiving than they appear.

For those who mentioned Undertaker vs Nexus, I think the original plan was to do Barrett vs Undertaker at WM 27, with Triple H vs Sheamus.

Also the Scott Armstrong conspiracy but that being dropped was probably for the best Unless Scott Armstrong's retiring for good, there needs to be some sort of resolution to this. Though knowing the WWE, I can easily see them bringing him back in a few months, and pretending it all never happened. He is back already isn't he?

Walkout
Nexus
Summer of Punk
I consider any storyline that sort of faded out with no satisfying resolution to be dropped.

Two pages and no Sean O'Haire? I'm impressed! Recently it seems like more people have realised that the gimmick worked great in vignettes but was hard to translate to the ring - and people have also noted O'Haire's recent personal issues and been glad it didn't work out after all.

Main Event being retooled to be centered around the Intercontinental Title. Yeah speaking of that. I was so pissed when this was dropped. I'm a sucker for tournaments.

If only he said hi to Droz, then he'd be something. You've lost me. That was one of the backstage stories that went around during the inVasion angle, an excuse given to show that the WCW guys had attitude problems. I think our Observer thread mentions it when they got to 2001 issues.

Those strange two weeks when Kofi grew a pair of balls, stood up to Randy Orton and dumped paint on that car and actually looked like a stud. God, this one pisses me off. Kofi was really gaining steam here. The enduring thing I'll remember is Kofi legdopping Orton off the balcony at MSG and getting a HUGE pop from a very tough MSG crowd.

I'd love to know what actually happened behind the scenes. Was this the same time Orton did the "STUPID STUPID" thing and started pouting in the ring?

Ricky Steamboat confronts intercontinental champ Wade Barrett backstage. We all assumed it was leading to Richie Steamboat getting called up, I think we ended up with Santino losing a non-title match and Ricky looking disappointed in the ring.

Which appears to be why Kofi was depushed. To the delight of nobody, we did get the Randy-Trips feud right after that

I'm not sure if it had potential, but "Just Joe"
That seemed to just end and I can't recall any resolution to whatever they were going for.

Also from this year (and of questionable quality) Bo Dallas wins the right to be in the Royal Rumble eliminates Wade seemingly setting up a feud for the IC title against him.... and then is never spoken of again.

Raw is Chaos IIRC during 08 or 09. No GM, the wrestlers taking the Law in their hands, JBL rounding up a posse to try and control things. Just imagine every monday of sheer war. I was hoping that would lead to Stone Cold as the GM of RAW and ultimately Orton vs. Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 25. I remember Stone Cold mentioning in an interview years ago (somewhere around this time) that he would like to work with Orton, and this was when Orton was white hot as an unstable heel. What I was hoping would happen was Shane and Stephanie appointing a new GM each week on a trial basis but the wrestlers rebelling every time and running the person out each week. Finally, with no other options they turn to Stone Cold who lays down the law and several Stunners to keep everyone in line. It also would have been interesting to see Austin as the authority figure and Orton as the rebel who kept challenging his authority.
