Definitely JBL and Edge for me as well. I'll also throw Evolution as a whole into the mix.

-early 2000s era Kurt Angle. I thought he was really, really obnoxious back then, that I always rooted for his opponent. Looking back... I found him really hilarious.
-Christian, from the break up of E&C up to Captain Charisma era. Somehow I just warmed up to him when he was in TNA.
-JBL. I was really pissed that he took the title from Eddie and hold it for such a long time.
...I don't know if Christian and JBL counts though. I hated them when I was in high school.

I hated rapper Cena as a kid, but I'd probably have liked him more if I was watching him back then as I am now.

Ric Flair. Old Vhs tapes I had were full of Flair and I despised every minute of his matches.
I actually didn't care for Flair until he re debuted as Raw GM. Now hes in my top 10 favs.

In 1995 when Goldust debuted, and seeing him rubbing guys and trying to kiss other guys made the 12 year old homophobe in me hate him. I remember when it looked like Savio Vega won the IC title from him on Raw in 1996, I went crazy...for Savio Vega, that's how much I hated Goldust. Of course now I see that he was way ahead of his time and he was awesome (and somehow he is even better in the ring in 2013.)

Triple H - '99-'2001 + Evolution Edge - '05-'06
Those two were true heels. Now as an adult it makes perfect sense.

I loved heels when I was young but I hated Vader. Now looking back at his work and seeing him last year made me like him. I know understand why so many people loved him during his prime.

I used to really really hate Triple H when he left DX and joined the corporation(when he sledgehammered the hell out of the casket the rock was in I really hated him). A little bit after when he was revealed as being behind Stone Cold being run down too I just plain could not stomach him, HATED Triple H.
Looking back, he was absolutely amazing at that role, such a grimy bastard.
When I was little I was always the biggest Steve Austin fan going, so any time RAW went off the air and he had been beaten down by the corporation I hated it and had a hard time getting to sleep cause I was so mad. Id give anything to be able to get that invested in it again, lol(maybe without the sleep deprivation tho)

Boy do I feel old...but I'll say George Hackenschmidt. Always hated his attitude, but now I look back and want some cake.

I didn't ever *hate* him, but I was initially unimpressed by Hogan when I first saw him and compared him to the rest of the roster. To me he was a bit too much on the goofy side and his moveset wasn't as exciting as others I was more into. Now looking back, I can see why crowds found him so electric- his routine was simple, but he understood the finer points of acting in the ring. All his actions and gestures made everything seem big and epic.

JBL and William Regal.
I thought Bradshaw was a lame champion who didn't deserve the title and put on horrible matches. But looking back, he was an incredible heel.
I also thought Regal was a boring wrestler (trust me, I'd go back and smack young BEN myself).

I used to think Jeff Jarrett was the worst, and only a few years ago I realized that that was the point and he's one of the best.

The only wrestler I ever felt true hatred for, the "real" world champion, Ric Flair.
