I don't get it. The face of your company Cena is a douchebag boyfriend. Naomi makes it a point to whichever Uso she's dating that it's not real if she does a love interest angle with someone else. All just seems weird to me.

Yes. This isn't 1963, the cat is out of the bag.

Yes. This isn't 1963, the cat is out of the bag. I know... I like the show and all just seems so against the grain of everything else WWE puts on TV that it's just weird to me.

Douchebag? Granted he didn't come off the best in those final 10 minutes of the season finale (that's all of the season finale I've seen so far), but in every other episode he's freaking Yoda. Hell he's also supporting his family, to make sure they don't have financial trouble. The guy comes across awesome.

Can you imagine being a kid watching this. Because if we were between between the 7-17 age range anything wrestling related is being watched more than now-a-days. We should ask the kids.

Total Divas is the best thing that the WWE is doing, so I couldn't care less. Quality entertainment weekly.

I think the whole kayfabe thing really doesn't matter, but honestly - no one looks good coming out of that thing. Everyone comes off as a big jerk on that show, so it may hurt the overall brand of those characters in the long run.

Kayfabe died a slow death long, long ago. The only thing being sacrificed here is the already deteriorated credibility of the Diva's division.

Yeah, at one point when I was like 10/11 I was Watching: Raw Smackdown Livewire/ Excess Superstars Metal Heat Tough Enough WWF Classics Every week, plus a PPV on top of that once a month. Now I struggle to watch Raw each week

Kayfabe is dead, the jig is up. Nobody except the smallest of children (and even they're starting to catch on) and the dullest of dullards think this shit is mildly real.

Well it has it's own version of Kayfabe... like all reality shows... so... it doesn't so much as destroy as replace it...

Is letting the cat out of the bag worth the new possibilities doing that opens up? YES.
Is Total Divas worth being the end result of that? Lord, no.

Total Divas is just kayfabe too.
The irony is that WWE presenting this as "real" and people have bought into it despite reality TV having a notorious reputation for the fix being in.

He had his girlfriend move all her shit across the country into his house and then decides to have her sign some insane roommate agreement. I'm pretty sure he knew she wasn't going to pack back up and leave. He kind of trapped her and I thought that was a major douche moment. I don't however think he's a douche for not wanting to get married or have children, especially since he made that clear from the very beginning. He comes across as a good dude for the most part but I'll admit that I could never be friends with someone like him, dropping holier than thou pearls of wisdom at every little crisis.

Anyone watching that show should know wrestling is scripted already. Knowing real life relationships and what not doesn't affect my viewing personally. I knew Bryan/Brie were dating when he was hooked up with AJ on TV and it didn't affect that storyline.
Everyone always says they come off unlikeable but for the most part, I don't think they do. They have their moments but ultimately their intentions are good. They just seem like average women.

In fairness though, he got a divorce. He's protecting himself more than anything, and quite frankly, Nikki seems like the type of chick who will marry you, divorce you, and take you to the cleaners in the divorce. Maybe she's not that way, but she comes across that way, a lot more than Brie.

Everyone has aspects about themselves that aren't positive. Shows like these show the negative and positive aspects of people involved. People have a tendency to focus on the negative ones. It is easier to dislike someone than to like someone at times.

I wonder if Cena will start getting "Marry Nikki" chants from snarky fans.

I don't like what it's done for AJ/Bryan interactions.
Those two were the best.
