Just all the main eventers announcing they were in the Royal Rumble match? And then it ended on like...I wanna say Triple H saying he was in the Rumble when Shawn SHOCKED HIM AND THE WORLD by announcing that HE TOO was in the Royal Rumble match? WHILE THEY WERE PARTNERS!?

Was that the segment that had every guy come out to the ring with a microphone in hand, and then when the sixth or seventh guy came down you could see a small pile of microphones on the ring steps?

I remember that. Oh how shocking, Shawn Michaels who has betrayed ever partner he ever had might betray his partner by participating in an even with 29 other people? Wow. Also, I seriously hate any and all segments that involve the words "I am going to win the rumble" or some variation. They're the worst kind of filler.

I remember in 2002 on the episode of Raw where Hunter returned from his quad injury that they had also been teasing a HUGE announcement regarding Kurt Angle all episode long. When he finally announced it he interrupted Hunter's return to break the ground breaking news that ... he is also in the Royal Rumble.

Better than that time when the final segment of RAW was Vince kissing The Rock's ass for 25 minutes.

Better than that time when the final segment of RAW was Vince kissing The Rock's ass for 25 minutes. Or the string of Raw final segments from this summer/fall that ended with some variation of The Authority celebrating over a beaten up Daniel Bryan.

Remember when RAW ended with Shane straight up murdering Kane by pushing him into a flaming dumpster?
He looked down onto Kane's charred body and said, "Burn in Hell, you Son of a Bitch."
Next week Kane came out with taped ribs, as I recall.
Still, I just loved that RAW.

Like, in kayfabe, Kane survived being burned alive and can magically make flame erupt before he has a match. So, why throw him into fire? Better off pulling a Sandow and throwing him into the river. That's like irish whipping Balls Mahoney into a bunch of steel chairs and thinking, yeah, nothing bad will come off that.

Remember when Stone Cold lost in the Rumble and entered himself into the next year's Rumble a year in advance, and then he didn't participate in that Rumble?

Remember when Raw closed as JR lamented that he wished it would end "not this way, damn it!"?

I remember last year had this segment with all the main eventers in it, and then the Prime Time Players came out and you could just see how much lower on the totem pole ads opposed to anyone else that got mic time.

That seg is still a million times better than THAT promo Cena cut on the go-home Raw to the Rumble this year.

XD I remember right after that, 3MB came out to announce they would win before the entire locker room emptied out. To be fair though, other than Dolph Ziggler, there were no midcard or above level heels in the Rumble.
