I've just launched this video but within the first minute of the intro I can tell this is going to be a "Lets shit on WCW" video.
I'll be back to admit I was wrong if it's anything but that.
EDIT:
Exactly as expected. They bury everything except Sting Vs Vampiro and compliment Hulk on being over. They like Jeff Jarrett as well. Apart from that they label Norman Smiley as a bad worker (Even though Chris Hero said Smiley is a god) and even take the time to insult Tammy Sytch for her looks (Classy guys)
Riddled with errors as well. They claim WCW lost 62 million in 2000 (Even the sheets claim it was significantly less at 50 million) and they also claim Michael Buffer got 200,000 dollars an appearance. The figure was actually 10,000 as confirmed by Michael himself.
I'd like to see a guy on YouTube or whatever be actually impartial with all of this instead of taking the "WCW sucks" outlook and the cringe worthy attempts at humor.

Thanks FSin & captlunatic! I missed out on splicing Hennig's Perfect Sports vignettes during the Hulkamania run so I was real happy to get the chance to put it in. The WCW title switches is something I've wanted to cover for months now. Hope you'll enjoy the ECW 4-parter coming up

Me and my buddies have a bet that by episode 70 the "Hellooooooo" will actually break the sound barrier. It'll be like falsetto. It's great.

To be honest, in WCW he never seemed that special to me, just a comedy wrestler with a couple of good moves, it was more the Big Wiggle and Screaming with him. If he's one of those guys that's a really good wrestler who was never really able to show off, that's great, but his WCW run wasn't exactly a technical masterpiece.

All he had to do was dance, scream and bump. These guys bury him though, not enough high spots I guess.

In a way, he was WCW's Santino, really.

I'm not questioning his overness, but the way people in the industry talk about him as being an amazing technician, there's a big disconnect from what was presented on screen.

Screamin Norman was a gimmick worker in WCW. No real in ring ability to speak of. It was scream...do the wiggle...get fluke victory. It was enough. That was what WCW presented, that was what was reviewed. Now Norman Smiley the man was a FANTASTIC worker. If you watch his old Saturday Night stuff or when he was Black Magic in Mexico...easily on par with a William Regal or Dean Malenko. You're just not gonna see that in 2000.

Yeah, even if you watch his pre wiggle stuff (When nobody cared about him and he jobbed all the time) he was a good technical wrestler. The issue with the dudes doing these podcasts is they don't look into it but they act like they do. They're going to say "Norman Smiley sucks and can't work" and some guy who never has watched WCW is going to listen to them and start saying Smiley sucks and before you know it, half the IWC hates Smiley based on what some people who didn't educate themselves said.

This I agree with SOR. So many concepts seemed to have begun on the internet and people just believe it. Nature of the smark world though, I probably do the same. His Black Magic work with Konan's Aztec promotion was fantastic. I remember watching him vs. la Park a few years back and really changing my opinion of him. Overall though, I disliked him in WCW.
