Because they filmed Hunico doing Sin Cara's poses for the new titantron video. Seems to be getting the character over more than the original did too.

They should probably, if speaking's going to be a regular thing for him, start dubbing his voice in instead of doing it straight. It makes sense the mask was muffling him but it was still really distracting.

Hunico is awesome, so if this helps get him pushed, I entirely bless it.

When did Hunico get a comic book in Mexico? Yeah I hate that they're still mentioning that while Hunico's under the mask.

When did Hunico get a comic book in Mexico? Well, he WAS Mistico before the other guy was.

They should probably, if speaking's going to be a regular thing for him, start dubbing his voice in instead of doing it straight. It makes sense the mask was muffling him but it was still really distracting. They could always give the mask an open mouth. Doesn't have to be like Mysterio's, but at least a slit so that his mouth isn't completely covered. That way he can talk without being muffled and not be outed as Hunico by the casual viewing audience. Having said that, I think Hunicara's mannerisms and his style in general are getting over more with the audience to the point where they probably don't even care if its a different guy. I wouldn't test that, but still I think they could care less. WWE may have actually stumbled onto their modern day Tiger Mask gimmick in a way that can be accepted by the American audience. I'm not for completely riffing Japanese gimmicks but I think in a few years if people forget about the ruined Lord Tensai gimmick, that it would be cool to have a young agile high flying cruiserweight take up a Great Muta-esque gimmick complete with face paint and bad ass entrance attire. I think I mentioned Low Ki as possibly fitting that character before. Not sure who could do it now though.

At best, they may remember that there was a fake Sin Cara a few years ago.

When did Hunico get a comic book in Mexico? Hunico's mexican comic was a brilliant read. it was a deconstructive zeitgeist story about the life of a Luchador whose identity is interchangeable because of the duality of wearing a mask in the ring and not in real life. it was co-written by Grant Morrison and Alan Moore with art by Alan Davis. it had that one issue where he gets turned into a woman and does a bunch of peyote and hallucinates about talking with the ghost of Konnan (who isn't actually dead). and it had a bunch of Kabbalah references too.

I still want him to be Sin Cara Negro, with his own wrestling style and not trying to mimic Mistico.

So when does Camacho get axed? Put him in a neon outfit and call him Camacho Man. Instant ratings.

Not to HHHate, but was Sin Cara the character so over that Hunico had to take the roll over? This comes off more as Trips trying to salvage his first acquisition.

So when does Camacho get axed? Vince: Hunico, you're promoted to Sin Cara. Hunico: Sweet! Vince: And Camacho, you're promoted to Hunico. Camacho: Nice, and uh, who's gonna be Camacho? Vince: We don't need an Camacho.

I don't see why not. the mask's a huge merch cash cow, may as well make use of the gimmick to keep it selling. I'm just surprised, given how well Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio masks sell, that they don't bring up more guys in masks. it's an old wrestling tradition I wish would come back.
