The returning part timers such as Lesnar, Taker, HHH, Batista, Etc. are supposedly such big stars that the concept of them stepping into a WWE ring in 2014 is a spectacle in itself. They don't need to have a 25-30 min match imo. If I'm buying a show for Lesnar/'Taker/HHH/Batista/whoever, I should be able to see a fair amount of them (that would mean 20 minutes, at least). They're why I paid for the show in the first place. Not only would giving them the short end of the stick on your biggest show of the year be a waste of good talent, but I'd also be less tempted to buy the next show they're on.

Putting this in spoilers because this isn't until February: {Spoiler}I bought my tickets for the Raw after the Chamber in Green Bay yesterday, and on the ad screen by the ticket window at the Resch Center, Brock Lesnar is advertised to be on Raw that night, so my guess is that's where they get the possible match with Taker set up.
Also, while I know the card is subject to change, they advertise Orton as the NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Not sure if that means there's a brief title change before the Chamber and he gets it back or if they're just saying new because of TLC, but I thought it was worth noting.

I don't see why they're afraid of having Roman Reigns face HHH.
He seems to be a bit over, and sure, HHH may be dependent on weather he should get a win over him, but still, I can actually see it happening.
