I'd put Harmoknight and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon on your list as well. The Star Fox 64 is surprisingly pretty good as well.

Really, you can't go wrong with most 3DS games.
...but for the love of (insert your deity of choice here), stay FAR away from Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
That was a horrendously disappointing game, especially for (what had until then) been a perfect franchise.

After hitting the Eshop last night I now have to back "Steamworld Dig" in the hardest way. What a 2-d game about digging for treasures. So much fun and great 3D.

I second that, Steamworld Dig is a must. Another good choice is Resident Evil:Revelations, in my opinion it's one of the best of the modern RE games because of its back to basics approach.
