It's ironic that Silva said he wouldn't retire even if he lost the fight and that might be just what happens. Get well soon, Spider.

Chris Weidman's fluke-iest fluke title reign of fluke-iness continues.
Look for his next fight where Vitor's last second TRT treatment causes the contender's left arm to explode.

1. That sucks for a few reasons. Silva's career is probably over and now Weidman will never get any credit for being a legit champion.
2. I don't agree with Rousey not shaking Tate's hand but after the shit Tate said about Ronda's family....I can't say I blame her. I was cheering for Tate when TUF began but I turned on her quickly.

Twitter of course had to make it so pictures automatically show up instead of links so I can't even search "Anderson Silva" at all to see what people are saying since I sure as hell don't want to see any of that again I couldn't watch the replay, especially when they show it in slow mo. Sick

I still maintain that Shaun Livingston's ACL tear is the worst injury I've ever seen, but Silva is right there with Joe Theismann, Kevin Ware, & Sid. Still though, I think that first round showed that Weidman was no fluke. He had the round, and was close to getting the KO.

There had to be an issue with Anderson's leg before right??? I mean it just snapped and Chris didn't even flinch!

That was horrific. I think we've seen the end of Anderson Silva, such a shame for a career like his to end like that if so.

Sick I actually watched the replay closely, because I didn't even see the break at first, and was confused as to why everyone was so sure that was the case. I wish I hadn't, because I've been having trouble sleeping lately and this likely won't help.

Sick f*** that slow mo replay. I can watch a lot of bad injuries and so forth, but when it comes to leg breaks like that I just don't even want to see it.

It looks like Weidman went to check the kick and the break occurred on impact to the kneecap

Initially I thought it hit Weidman's shin, but everyone's saying knee, so I'll go with that, as I don't plan on rewatching it again.

Yeah, from the replay it was definitely caused via Weidman's check. Right on the knee, or perhaps just below it.

It looked like the lowest part of the outside of the knee is where the kick hit.
