I know how to get Del Rio over.

After some heelish aggression BS, he's told backstage that he has to fight the SHIELD next week as punishment. He then legitimately has no clue who they are.

He then kidnaps Ricardo and forces him to explain to him who the SHIELD are. Once he hears how badass and deadly they are, he starts trying to elicit help from various old enemies who just laugh him off or threaten him.


Finally, he goes down to ringside with a six pack of beer and a fistful of (hundreds of)dollars. He pleads with JBL, from one Aristocrat to another, to please come to his aid. Despite having no idea who the SHIELD is, he knows of JBL's past as a gun for hire. JBL mulls the idea and accepts, but says he has to call Ron first.

Beginning of the new boom period.

As a giant chamber fan, I gotta say Swaggers win via rollup was probably the worst, with the December to Dismember chamber coming up at a solid #2.
