Phil Feisty was a well-to-do businessman who was walking home one day from work. In the back of his neighbor's fenced-in yard, he heard a commotion. An alerted Phil decided to investigate, but curiosity was not on his side. Hours later, the police received a call that Phil was found dead in the back yard.
Who killed Phil? What was the motive?
-------------------------------------------------
Figure out the mystery by only asking yes/no questions.
I, the narrator, can only respond with "yes," "no," "I don't know," "Irrelevant," or "Rephrase your question."
There is a full explanation awaiting you once the chaos has been unraveled by you in case you don't fit together the entire story.
Just post your questions and I will quote and reply in order. Try not to spam with 50 questions in a post, but I'm not really limiting you to the number of questions per post you make. (Just don't be "that guy." Let everyone play--you know what I mean?)
Get to work, detectives!
EDIT: Feel free to joke around and discuss back and forth here in this thread too. That's part of the fun!

<The Answer>
{Spoiler}Phil Feisty was a well-to-do businessman who tried to live a modest life. His parents were the corporate co-chairs of a thriving yacht construction franchise. Phil inherited his position solely because of the family ties. Phil did not love the lifestyle of the rich and famous and mirrored his down-to-earth attitude in the way he lived: he walked to and from the bus stop to go to work each day, he lived in a lower middle class neighborhood, and he even owned a mere 1-story house.
His parents resented him greatly for this. What's more is that Phil did not hide his disdain for the dog-eat-dog world of business. Profits for the company dipped noticeably with Phil on the job, and his parents, true to their perfectionist form could not publicly denounce their son for fear of public image scandal nor could they continue with the blackening of their name and business with Phil's growing tendency to live a "bohemian" lifestyle.
The parents knew his routine each day, and Phil's self-planned odd hours that he kept each week were duly noted. While the rugged, lower middle class neighbors were away at their grueling 5:00am - 4:00pm jobs, the father and mother snuck into the neighbor's back yard through a mismanaged hole in the fence and staged the sounds of a physical struggle as Phil walked by as he came home from work at 1:00. Knowing his good heart, they knew he would come to the rescue and it was at that point they blindsided him with a rake and bludgeoned him to death with the rake and a shovel. Committing the murder in such a neighborhood would draw ire from the media and immediately call Phil's "rebellion" from the high life into question while his well-meaning parents could be victimized and sympathized with throughout the coverage.
When the family's 12 year old got home from school before his parents got off work, he ran outside to play. What he saw was quite surprising. Little Johnny called the cops upon discovering the body.
