People talk as if Bourne has been passed by by the NXT guys but if the injury hasn't affected his ability too badly (maybe a big if considering how bad it was) then some WWE matches with Zayn, Neville, Kallisto and others would be welcome. Annnd there's one of the main reasons I want him back. They'd put on some great matches together. Hope to see it soon!

I dunno. I feel like Bourne never really got a chance to get his feet on the ground, so to speak. Aside from being RKO'd mid-ssp, has he really been given any real moments to work with and build off of? He had that admittedly odd one-month push where he opened RAW brawling with Edge and beat Jericho - I think. Fans welcomed it nicely. It went nowhere. He also beat Jericho on ppv at least once.

"That gives me an idea...Let's prepare a giant bong full of weed and watch the Royal Rumble Anthology dvd!" Evan Bourne.

Didn't he close Raw one time being Cena's mystery partner and he won the match. I can't remember who against but it was the start of a push. Next week the nexus angle started and he was kind of forgotten about I think.
I think a lot of you are underselling him, kids used to love him. I'm sure he'll get a good reaction when/if he returns. I doubt it will be at the rumble though. He probably just put out that tweet to cause some swirl and remind the wwe higher ups that he's still around

Bourne and Edge opened the only house show I've ever been to, and the main event was Cena and Bourne going over Edge and Sheamus.
That still hasn't sunk into my brain yet.

He will get injured running down to the ring I assume. Is he really injury prone though? His foot was destroyed in an accident, & is lucky to even be walking let alone wrestling from what I understand. Unless I'm forgetting something, he isn't Mysterio-like. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though. He had an ankle injury during his ECW run in late 2008 that put him out for a couple of months, which I believe is his only injury that he's gotten from wrestling. At least in WWE, anyway.

Maybe he can relieve Kofi from having to do the annual Rumble stunt.

I'd like to see Bourne return and have matches with some of the better workers in NXT.
Alot of you are selling the guy short. He's really good. He's also probably the 1 guy in the company better at selling than Ziggler.

Who!? Isn't that the guy that played Dolph Ziggler after being drafted to Raw?

"Hey, is Cody Rhodes......shorter?" - the typical WWEUniversian who doesn't remember who Evan Bourne even is anymore...

I'd imagine he'd be more prone to be a surprise substitution for somebody in a tag match.

I'm kind of surprised they'd have him back. He's of that 2006-2010 midcard generation that the higher-ups want nothing to do with, it seems - thinking of Masters, Trent, Carlito, MVP, Kennedy. I've heard that unlike those guys, Stephanie is a big supporter of Evan Bourne and has argued that he brings something fresh to the show.

He should bleach his hair and become "Lil Dolph".

For all that is good, let Evan Bourne come face to face with Brock in the Rumble. Bourne sells monster offense better than anyone, and it would be awesome to see him sell for Brock.

I was at the show when that happened, I wasn't sure which one was Evan Bourne. I hope he feuds with Sheamus again when he returns just so we can hear "Leetle Evan Barne" again.
