I honestly would mark for Jeff back in the WWE. As I would Hogan and Angle. There's just something about TNA. I watch and enjoy it for their homegrown talent like AJ, Storm, Roode, Daniels but I'd rather see the WWE made stars in the WWE.

Jeff Hardy will stay in TNA as long they give him a competitive wage and artistic freedom. WWE can pay his TNA contract 3 times over but won't let him paint drawings and work on his music career like TNA does. Hardy is there until the relationship sours so don't get your hopes up for a WWE return just yet.

Yeah, he's just playing up the TNA angle where he's sitting out for the period where he's not allowed to come to the UK. He'll be back on TNA TV by March.

While I don't think he's going anywhere, the WWE have been giving people with name value some pretty cushy deals lately, The Rock, Lesnar, RVD, Jericho, heck, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been on light contracts for years. TNA have one big advantage over the WWE, they'll forgive his sins as long as he keeps selling merchandise,

Now if WWE gave Jeff his own personal state of the art recording studio, a new triple wide trailer, and all the paint his heart desires; he might break down.

Hardy likely gets a good salary, works fewer dates (I would assume), and has TNA shilling his music and artwork like crazy. He gets to have his new music as his theme song every year. He seems like the type of guy who wrestles to make money but is more interested in his side projects and in that sense TNA is probably a cushy gig for him. Maybe he would go back to the WWE in a Jericho or RVD limited role, or if TNA's budget cutter hits his salary eventually, but it depends on how he feels about travel and not having creative freedom anymore. In TNA he probably has too much freedom.

So Jeff might be on his way back. Dude has put a lot of effort into getting clean. Looks like @jeiffhardybrand to me, but ... I guess I could be wrong?

I follow Jeff on Twitter. Lets just say that the tweet in the OP was way too coherent to have been composed by Jeff. Anyway, current storyline aside, he's under contract to TNA for at least another year. As much as I'd like to see another go 'round with him and Punk, I don't see it happening for a while.

He was either drunk or trying to get the folks talking only to let everyone down when he shows up at next TNA show.
Probably both.
